Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →A Liliputing roundup published October 6, 2026, reports three developments: the Pebble Round 2 is in production, DroidDeck is bringing a Steam Big Picture-style experience to some Android devices, and Magisk installation instructions for Googlebooks are still forthcoming. The report gives an expected preorder delivery window for the watch, but not a confirmed shipment date for every buyer.
Pebble Round 2: production is underway, but delivery is still an expectation
Liliputing reports that the Pebble Round 2 is in production and that preorders are expected to arrive by the end of 2026. That is a forward-looking estimate, not confirmation that every preorder has shipped or will arrive by a particular date. The roundup does not establish current inventory, a new order’s shipping window, or pricing.
What is changing from the original
The roundup describes an improved display and a touchscreen. It also says the watch’s software remains a work in progress, so the hardware updates should not be taken as evidence that the software is finished.
Water resistance is a trade-off
The report says the Round 2 is less water resistant than other Pebble watches. It does not provide a rating or testing details, so it does not establish what water exposure the watch can safely withstand. Buyers should not assume it matches the water resistance of other Pebble models.

The roundup does not provide a device-by-device compatibility list, so this should not be read as support for every Android handheld or Snapdragon phone.
Version 0.3.0 and controller emulation
According to the roundup, DroidDeck version 0.3.0 improves Steam Deck controller emulation. That describes an update to controller emulation; the report supplies no performance measurements or compatibility results for individual games and devices.

Googlebooks: app compatibility may depend on processor architecture
The roundup describes Googlebooks as laptops running a desktop operating system based on Android. It warns that app and game compatibility may vary by processor architecture: some Android apps may work only on Arm models at launch, because many Android apps were made for Arm-based smartphones.
This is a compatibility concern, not a claim that Android apps categorically fail on x86 Googlebooks. The report does not identify which apps are affected or provide a compatibility list, so anyone choosing a model for particular apps or games should verify those titles’ support rather than assume either universal compatibility or universal failure.
