Is my OnePlus device getting OxygenOS 16?
OnePlus’s OxygenOS 16 launch page lists these compatible devices. OnePlus says the list is not exhaustive and does not include future devices that ship with OxygenOS 16 preinstalled.

Being on the list means a model is compatible; it does not mean the update is already available to every owner.
When will OxygenOS 16 arrive on my device?
OnePlus says updates roll out in batches, and timing depends on the device model, country and carrier. Carrier-exclusive models follow their carrier’s schedule, so there is no single arrival date that applies to every owner.
OnePlus Community posts provide examples of staged rollouts: OnePlus announced the global rollout for the OnePlus 13 on November 1, 2025, and for the OnePlus 11 on December 2, 2025. Those announcements do not establish when every regional or carrier variant receives the update. Check the update prompt on your device and OnePlus Community notices for your specific model and region.
What’s new in OxygenOS 16?
OnePlus highlights changes to AI and information management, customization, the interface, device sharing and tablet multitasking. Feature availability can differ by device and region.
Mind Space, AI and audio memos
Mind Space is designed to save information so you can revisit it, and OnePlus describes a Mind Assistant for working with saved content. The launch page also describes Gemini connecting with Mind Space, subject to availability and setup restrictions. Plus Mind AI varies by country, region and device and is currently unavailable on OnePlus tablets.
On a phone with Plus Key hardware, a long press on the key can capture an audio memo of up to 60 seconds. That limit is a stated feature capability, not a result of an independent test.

More lock-screen and home-screen choices
OnePlus highlights lock-screen Motion Photo and video options, customization for text and clocks, scalable home-screen icons, app-drawer organization and additional widgets. Widget availability can vary.
Visual changes and live updates
OnePlus describes Flow Motion animations, Parallel Processing, softer visual styling and expanded Fluid Cloud live updates. These are OnePlus’s descriptions of the software; the launch page does not establish uniform performance or availability across devices and regions.
Sharing with computers, iPhones and OnePlus devices
The launch page describes O+ Connect options for sharing with Windows PCs and Macs, sharing with iPhones through the O+ Connect app, and sharing with OnePlus phones and tablets. PC and Mac features require specified software and operating-system versions. Tablet remote control of a PC or Mac is limited to the Pad 3 according to OnePlus’s launch-page disclaimer.
Expanded multitasking on selected tablets
Enhanced Open Canvas can put up to five apps on screen: three split-screen apps plus two floating, resizable windows. OnePlus says this feature is currently exclusive to the Pad 3 and Pad 2 running OxygenOS 16.
What do OnePlus’s performance claims mean?
OnePlus advertises “Zero-Lag” scenarios involving three hours of reels and one hour of gaming multitasking. The company says these figures come from OnePlus Test Laboratory testing on the OnePlus 13 and 13s running OxygenOS 16. They are vendor test claims, not independent benchmark results or guarantees of performance on other devices. OnePlus also describes a Pad 3 (16GB) multitasking claim under controlled conditions; the launch material does not establish it as a general result for other tablets.
Where can I download OxygenOS 16?
The official launch page and rollout notices do not establish one universal direct-download package for all OnePlus devices. For the appropriate build for your device, region and carrier, use the phone or tablet’s official update prompt and consult the relevant OnePlus Community or support channel. The OnePlus 13 rollout post directs users to select “update now” on the update card. Do not treat third-party firmware mirrors as official OnePlus downloads.
