The published schedule ran through the first half of 2026, but its target windows are not guarantees that every phone would receive the update on a particular date. As of 8 October 2026, the sources available for this article do not verify stable-rollout completion model by model.
Which Vivo phones were on the India schedule?
Mint’s 18 October 2025 report of Vivo’s announced schedule grouped devices into these target windows. The later phases were described in broad product families, and reports differ in some variant names; check the exact Indian model rather than assuming every device in a family is included.

The first three windows name specific models or series. The final window is less precise: the contemporary reports do not provide one consistent, exhaustive list of every variant. The Vivo X200 series appearing in the early phase, for example, does not establish that all regional versions of every X200 model share the same release timing.
Which iQOO phones were scheduled for OriginOS 6?
An iQOO India community schedule posted on 19 October 2025 described beta timing first and stable releases as staged. It gave these India target windows:

The iQOO community notice was updated to add the Neo 7 models; a 6 November 2025 report placed them in the first-half-of-2026 group. That report also said some iQOO 13 users had started receiving stable software, which is evidence of a rollout beginning for some users, not proof that it was complete for every iQOO 13 or other listed device. The community schedule cautioned that carrier-exclusive models could follow separate cycles.
Does a scheduled window mean the update is available now?
No. These dates were rollout phases, not guaranteed individual delivery dates. The iQOO schedule specifically distinguished beta timing from stable distribution and said stable updates would arrive in stages. Carrier-exclusive models may have separate cycles. A phone can therefore be on the announced schedule while its OTA is not yet visible to its owner.

As of 8 October 2026, the sources used here do not establish the stable-update status of every listed model. Vivo’s historical schedule link now leads to a newsroom page displaying a later OriginOS 7 plan, rather than a live OriginOS 6 status tracker. Treat the table as the announced schedule, not confirmation that all listed phones have received the update.
How to check for the update on your phone
- Open Settings on the phone.
- Tap System Update.
- Check whether OriginOS 6 is offered and follow the phone’s prompts if it is.
iQOO Connect Official gave this path in its 17 October 2025 notice. If no update appears, that alone does not mean the model was excluded: staged distribution, beta-versus-stable timing, and carrier-specific cycles can affect when an OTA reaches a device.

What changes does OriginOS 6 bring?
OriginOS 6 is based on Android 16. Reported features include Vivo’s Origin Smooth Engine, refreshed visual styling and motion effects, customizable lock-screen layouts, widgets and Flip Cards, and Origin Island for glanceable status and activity information. Reports also describe Vivo AI tools and integrations including Gemini, AI Retouch, AI Image Expander and AI Creation. Availability of particular functions may depend on device and software configuration; the performance and capability descriptions are Vivo’s claims, not independent test results.
How to interpret Vivo’s performance figures
Mint reported Vivo’s claim of a 106% increase in data-loading speed compared with the previous version, using the example of opening an album containing up to 5,000 photos within seconds. These are manufacturer-reported figures and an example, not an independently validated benchmark or a guarantee of the experience on every phone.
