The OPPO Reno16 5G is the stronger fit on the published chipset and video specifications, while the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G stands out for its much larger stated battery and 50MP front camera. Both list up to 80W wired charging. There is no reliable single price difference to quote across the two: the available prices are for different countries and memory configurations.

OPPO says specifications may vary by region and that “All specifications are subject to the actual product.” The comparison uses OPPO’s global comparison page, its Reno16 Egypt specifications, and its A7 Pro Max Global specifications. A regional model, software version, network functions, or box contents may differ.

Which phone has the better performance specifications?

OPPO lists a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the Reno16 and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 in the A7 Pro Max. These chipset names place the Reno16 higher in the stated platform tiers, but the available specifications do not establish a measured performance gap. No comparable independent benchmarks for these exact phones are cited here, so avoid treating the chipset difference as a quantified speed advantage.

Which phone has the bigger battery?

The A7 Pro Max has the larger published capacity: 10,000mAh typical (9,700mAh rated), versus 6,700mAh typical (6,490mAh rated) for the Reno16. That makes the A7 Pro Max the capacity choice on paper, not a guarantee of longer runtime. Screen use, network conditions, software, and other factors affect endurance, and these figures are manufacturer specifications rather than results from a comparable battery test.

How do charging and cameras compare?

Charging

Both specification pages list wired charging up to 80W. OPPO also lists UFCS alongside SUPERVOOC for the A7 Pro Max. Supported protocols and charging performance can vary by region; check the local product page and included-box details before assuming a particular charger is supplied or that the phones will charge identically.

Video and front cameras

The cited Reno16 Egypt page supports 4K video recording from both its rear and front cameras. The A7 Pro Max Global page lists recording up to 1080p from its rear and front cameras, and specifies a 50MP front camera. This gives the Reno16 the documented video-resolution advantage in these regional specifications, while the A7 Pro Max’s listed front-camera resolution may appeal to buyers comparing headline megapixels. Neither resolution nor megapixel count alone establishes photo or video quality.

Display details and regional limits

OPPO’s A7 Pro Max Global page specifies a 6.78-inch display with 2772 × 1272 resolution and adaptive 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz refresh rates; OPPO markets it as a 1.5K AMOLED panel. The Reno16 display details should be checked against a specification page for the intended buying market. A regional page for one phone should not be used to assume every market’s version has identical specifications.
