Their battery capacities are close, and neither specification sheet alone establishes which phone takes better photos, lasts longer, or performs faster in everyday use. This comparison covers the India-market models and separates OPPO’s announced launch prices from a dated retailer-price snapshot.

Which phone has the better display?
On listed size, resolution and maximum refresh rate, the vivo T5 5G has the advantage: its 6.83-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED supports up to 144Hz. The OPPO F33 Pro 5G uses a smaller 6.57-inch flat FHD+ AMOLED panel with adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. The vivo’s curved screen and OPPO’s flat screen also differ in handling preference; specifications do not establish which is more comfortable for a particular buyer.

Camera differences: selfie framing versus rear-camera options
Front cameras
OPPO lists a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view and autofocus, and describes it as suitable for ultra-wide selfie framing. vivo lists a 32MP front camera and says the phone can record 4K video at 30fps with both its front and rear cameras. A higher megapixel count or wider field of view does not by itself guarantee better image quality.
Rear cameras
The vivo T5 5G pairs a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome secondary camera. The listed rear-camera configurations therefore favor different uses: vivo provides an ultra-wide option, while OPPO’s secondary camera is monochrome. These specifications do not establish which phone produces better photos or video overall.

Battery capacity and charging speed
vivo lists a 7,050mAh typical battery, compared with OPPO’s 7,000mAh typical capacity—a 50mAh difference in the manufacturers’ stated typical figures. The listed rated capacities are 6,850mAh for vivo and 6,830mAh for OPPO. OPPO’s maximum charging specification is higher, at up to 80W, while vivo lists up to 44W FlashCharge. Capacity figures do not prove real-world endurance, and maximum wattage alone does not establish a charge time under every condition.
Performance, software and durability
Performance
The phones use different chip platforms: OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX, while vivo lists the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo and MediaTek NPU 850. Those model names and specifications are not a controlled performance comparison. If gaming, demanding applications or sustained speed will decide the purchase, look for independent tests of the exact retail configurations and software versions rather than treating the chip names as a definitive verdict.

Software support
OPPO lists ColorOS 16, but the reviewed OPPO pages do not state a software-support duration. vivo lists OriginOS 6 and commits to three Android OS upgrades and five years of security patch updates. That is an explicit duration claim from vivo; the available OPPO information does not provide a directly comparable commitment.
Durability
OPPO’s launch material states IP69K, IP68 and IP66 ratings and MIL-STD-810H. vivo states IP68/IP69 and military-grade durability, while warning that its water-resistance claims reflect controlled test conditions and that water resistance is not permanent. These are manufacturer claims with differing labels and caveats, not a guarantee that either device is damage-proof or suitable for routine immersion.

OPPO F33 Pro 5G vs vivo T5 5G price difference in India
OPPO India announced the F33 Pro 5G at launch in April 2026 for ₹37,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹40,999 for 8GB/256GB. Those are announced launch prices, not a guarantee of today’s selling price. OPPO’s launch announcement also lists a 12GB/256GB configuration, while its specifications page lists the two 8GB configurations; check which variant is actually offered by the seller.
When 91mobiles’ comparison page was accessed on 4 October 2026, it displayed ₹39,999 at Amazon for the OPPO F33 Pro 5G and ₹34,999 at Flipkart for the vivo T5 5G. This is a dated retailer listing snapshot, not official pricing, and the displayed pair does not establish matching memory configurations. Retail prices, stock and offers can change. The figures should not be treated as a like-for-like current price difference.

How to check a fair current price
- Compare the same RAM and storage tier for both phones.
- Check retailer listings at the same time and confirm stock and exact model name.
- Either include bank or exchange offers for both phones or exclude them for both; do not compare an offer-adjusted price with an undiscounted one.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the OPPO F33 Pro 5G if…
- You prioritize the listed 50MP, 100° autofocus front camera for wider selfie framing.
- You want the higher maximum wired charging specification: up to 80W.
- You have checked the live price and confirmed that your preferred storage configuration is available.
Choose the vivo T5 5G if…
- You prefer a larger, higher-resolution curved display with a higher listed maximum refresh rate.
- You want an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera and OIS on the 50MP main camera.
- You value vivo’s stated 4K/30fps front- and rear-camera recording or its published software-support duration.
For a performance-led choice, seek independent head-to-head testing of the specific versions sold in India. A comparison page that reports benchmark values is not, by itself, evidence of a controlled test between retail devices.
