OPPO’s clearest advantage on paper is its manufacturer-confirmed 7,000mAh typical battery and up to 80W charging. Which phone has the better display?
The vivo S2 5G is listed with a 6.83-inch, 1260 × 2800, 120Hz AMOLED display; the OPPO A6 Pro 5G has an officially specified 6.57-inch, 1080 × 2372, 120Hz AMOLED panel. If you prefer a larger screen and the extra listed resolution, vivo has the stronger display specification on paper. Both listings specify a 120Hz refresh rate. A larger display also means a larger phone, so screen size alone does not settle which device will feel better to use.

Performance and software
The comparison pages list a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo in the vivo and a Dimensity 6300 in the OPPO. That is a specification difference, not proof of a particular real-world speed advantage: no suitable benchmark or independent performance test is established here. OPPO’s India page names ColorOS 15.0, while third-party comparison data lists Android 16 / Origin OS for vivo. Because that vivo software detail is not manufacturer-confirmed here, check the exact India handset listing and software information before relying on it.
Camera specifications
OPPO specifies a 50MP wide rear camera and a 2MP monochrome camera, plus a 16MP front camera. The comparison listing describes vivo as having a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 32MP front camera. The listed selfie resolution favors vivo on paper, but megapixel counts and camera labels do not establish which phone takes better photos. No comparable camera test is available in these sources.

Battery and charging
OPPO confirms a typical battery capacity of 7,000mAh, rated at 6,830mAh, and maximum 80W SUPERVOOC charging. A third-party vivo listing reports a 7,050mAh battery and 44W Flash Charging. If charging speed is the deciding specification, OPPO’s stated maximum is higher. The listed capacities are close, but capacity figures alone do not establish battery life; no comparable endurance test is provided.
Storage, variants, and support
OPPO’s India specifications list 8GB RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Comparison pages list the vivo with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while another listing shows a 256GB option. Confirm the exact configuration offered in India: a price comparison is meaningful only when the variants are comparable. Gadgets Now reports three years of OS updates and five years of security updates for vivo, but that support claim is third-party reported. Its OPPO comparison field is blank; a blank field is not evidence that OPPO has made no support commitment.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the OPPO A6 Pro 5G if the lower listed price, manufacturer-published 7,000mAh typical battery, or up to 80W charging matters most to you.
- Consider the vivo S2 5G if you prioritize the larger, higher-resolution screen or the higher listed front-camera resolution, and you verify the relevant specifications for the exact India variant.
- Do not choose on processor name alone: the listed chipset tiers differ, but these sources do not establish real-world performance.
Before checkout, match storage and RAM, confirm the seller and live price, and check that the device is the India variant you intend to buy. vivo specifications and support details above should be treated as aggregator-reported rather than manufacturer-confirmed. (91mobiles; Gadgets Now)
