The OnePlus Nord CE5 is the better-documented choice: OnePlus India lists it from ₹24,999, with a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8350 Apex, 7,100mAh battery and 80W charging. The Nothing Phone (4b) is listed by secondary sources with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and 33W charging, but its battery capacity is disputed and no official Nothing product page was identified. Published prices are not a reliable direct comparison unless storage, retailer and offer conditions match.

Which processor is faster?

The Nord CE5’s Dimensity 8350 Apex has the higher listed maximum clock speed, at up to 3.35GHz versus up to 2.3GHz for the Phone (4b)’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. Clock speed and chip names alone do not establish real-world performance, and the available figures are specification listings rather than an equivalent independent head-to-head test.

OnePlus reports an AnTuTu score of 1,474,030 for the Nord CE5 12GB variant, measured by OnePlus Test Labs in Performance Mode. Treat it as a manufacturer test result, not an independent comparison with the Nothing phone. [OnePlus]

How do the displays compare?

Both phones are listed with a 6.77-inch screen and 120Hz refresh rate, so their basic size and refresh-rate specifications are closely matched. Secondary comparison listings give the Nord CE5 a 2392 × 1080 resolution and the Phone (4b) a 2344 × 1080 resolution. The difference is small on paper; these listings do not establish which screen looks better in a direct test. TechRadar offers reviewer observations about the Nord CE5’s display, but those are subjective impressions rather than lab measurements. [TechRadar]

Battery life and charging: a clear OnePlus spec advantage, with a Nothing caveat

OnePlus specifies a 7,100mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the Nord CE5. Secondary sources list the Phone (4b) at 33W charging, but disagree about battery capacity: T3 reports 5,200mAh, while 91mobiles and Gadgets360 report 6,000mAh. Without an official Nothing specification sheet or consistent reporting, neither Nothing capacity should be treated as settled.

The listed capacities and charging rates suggest a hardware advantage for the Nord CE5, but they do not prove a particular difference in battery life or charging time. Those outcomes depend on conditions and require comparable testing.

Camera specifications are similar, but they do not settle photo quality

Comparison listings give both phones a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide. T3 lists 4K recording at 30fps for the Phone (4b)’s main camera. The available specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; megapixel counts are not a substitute for matched camera testing.

Software support and storage details

OnePlus says the Nord CE5 qualifies for four Android version updates and six years of security updates via OTA. T3 reports three years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the Phone (4b), but the Nothing support term is based on a secondary source rather than an identified official Nothing product page. The sources summarized here do not provide a sufficiently consistent, matched account of storage configurations or expandability to compare those details reliably. Check the exact India variant and retailer listing before buying rather than assuming two similarly priced listings have the same storage.

What is the real price difference?

OnePlus India lists the Nord CE5 from ₹24,999, a starting price rather than a quote for a specific matched configuration. In contrast, a 91mobiles price snapshot shows ₹34,999 for the Nord CE5 and ₹32,236 for the Phone (4b). The latter snapshot would put the Nothing listing ₹2,763 below that Nord CE5 listing, but it is not a sound like-for-like price gap: the evidence does not establish matching storage, retailer, date or offer conditions. [OnePlus] [91mobiles Nord CE5] [91mobiles Phone (4b)]

For a useful comparison, check both phones at the same time and in the same country, then match RAM and storage and compare the same kind of price—such as regular retail price against regular retail price, not one model’s offer against the other’s list price.

Which phone should you choose?

Choose the OnePlus Nord CE5 if

  • You want manufacturer-listed specifications and an official India starting price.
  • A 7,100mAh battery, 80W charging and the listed Dimensity 8350 Apex matter most to you.
  • You value the stated four Android version updates and six years of security updates.

Consider the Nothing Phone (4b) if

  • You prefer its listed Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform and want to compare an actual matching configuration at your retailer.
  • You are comfortable confirming its specifications and support terms against an official listing before purchase, particularly the disputed battery capacity.

For either phone, make the final decision using the current price for the exact variant you intend to buy. The Nothing phone’s specifications and pricing are less firmly established here because the available details come from secondary sources.
