Which phone is faster for gaming and demanding apps?
The Nord 6 has the higher-tier listed chipset: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 versus the Redmi’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Its display also supports a higher refresh rate, 165 Hz versus 120 Hz. Those specifications make the Nord the more compelling on-paper option for buyers prioritizing gaming and fluid scrolling, but they do not establish a real-world performance gap, sustained frame rates or how well a particular game uses either screen. No matched independent gaming or performance test is established here.

Which screen is better for viewing and scrolling?
The Redmi has the larger listed panel at 6.83 inches, compared with 6.78 inches on the Nord. The Nord’s listed refresh rate is higher at 165 Hz, while the Redmi reaches 120 Hz. Choose based on the distinction that matters to you: the Redmi offers slightly more screen area; the Nord has the higher refresh-rate specification. These figures alone do not determine brightness, color accuracy or overall display quality.
Battery and charging: what the specifications tell you
Both makers list a 9,000 mAh battery, though Xiaomi specifically labels its figure typical. The Nord’s rated wired charging is 80 W; Xiaomi lists 67 W for the Redmi. Capacity and charging wattage do not show which phone lasts longer in everyday use or how quickly either charges under your conditions.
Xiaomi’s product page claims “3.5+ days” from its internal labs in a simulated light-use scenario and says actual results vary. That is a Xiaomi claim, not an independent test or a direct comparison with the Nord. No matched independent battery-life result is established for these phones.
Camera hardware: similar rear setup, different selfie resolution
Both phones list a 50 MP stabilized main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. OnePlus specifies a Sony main sensor with dual-axis OIS; Xiaomi lists OIS on its 50 MP main camera. Their listed front-camera resolutions differ: 32 MP on the Nord and 16 MP on the Redmi. Megapixel counts and hardware descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies; that requires comparable image samples and testing. No independent head-to-head camera result is established here.
