The OnePlus Nord 6 is the lower-listed-price choice in this comparison, with a much larger advertised battery and a higher stated screen refresh rate. The iQOO 15R costs more at its official-store listing but specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and 100W charging. For the same 8GB/256GB configuration, the cited listings differ by ₹14,009: OnePlus’s ₹39,990 campaign price for October 1–7, 2026, versus ₹53,999 on iQOO’s store. Those are not guaranteed checkout prices; offers and eligibility can change.

Which has the stronger processor?
OnePlus identifies the Nord 6 chipset as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while iQOO specifies Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the 15R. The iQOO therefore has the more powerful-sounding named platform on paper, but chipset names alone do not provide a reliable real-world speed ranking. No controlled, independent head-to-head benchmark is established here. If gaming or demanding workloads are decisive, look for comparable tests of these exact phones and configurations rather than relying on the processor name alone.
How do the displays compare?
OnePlus advertises a 165Hz AMOLED display for the Nord 6. iQOO gives more detail about the 15R panel: it is a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Nord 6’s stated refresh rate is higher, but refresh rate is only one part of display experience; it does not by itself prove superior brightness, colour, resolution or image quality.

OnePlus also advertises a 165 FPS BGMI test mode. Its published conditions specify a 12GB Nord 6, Pro Gamer mode and Adaptive Frame Booster, particular game settings, a 280-nit display and 75dB volume. That vendor test is not a general guarantee that all games or configurations will run at 165 FPS. OnePlus’s Nord 6 page describes the claim and conditions.
Battery capacity or faster charging?
The Nord 6 has the larger stated battery: 9,000mAh and 80W charging, compared with the iQOO 15R’s 7,600mAh typical capacity and 100W charging. The spec-sheet tradeoff is more capacity on the OnePlus and higher wired charging wattage on the iQOO. Capacity alone does not establish which lasts longer, since use, software, screen settings and other conditions affect runtime.

Both phones list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 32MP front camera. iQOO also lists an 8MP ultrawide rear camera. OnePlus’s cited Nord 6 specifications identify a 50MP Sony OIS main camera, but do not establish a complete rear-camera comparison here. Megapixels and stabilization do not show which phone takes better pictures, and no controlled comparative photo test is established. Choose based on sample images from the kinds of scenes you shoot, especially if ultrawide photography matters.

OnePlus specifies four Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the Nord 6. 91mobiles reports a four-year OS and six-year security-update commitment for both phones, but an official iQOO support-policy statement is not established here. Before buying the 15R on the basis of long-term support, confirm the commitment in iQOO’s own support documentation. The third-party comparison is at 91mobiles.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if the dated ₹39,990 campaign listing is available to you and budget, 9,000mAh stated battery capacity or 165Hz advertised refresh rate are your main priorities.
- Choose the iQOO 15R if its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and 100W charging matter more to you than the price difference, or you want the listed 8MP ultrawide camera.
- Compare further before deciding if camera output, actual battery endurance, sustained gaming performance or iQOO’s official update commitment is pivotal; the cited specifications do not settle those questions.
Both phones launched in India in 2026, with 91mobiles reporting official launch dates of April 7 for the Nord 6 and February 24 for the iQOO 15R. 91mobiles comparison.
