The OnePlus 15 is the higher-tier choice on paper, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a more extensively specified camera system. The OnePlus Nord 6 costs less in its Indian launch positioning and lists a larger 9,000mAh battery and a 165Hz AMOLED display. However, the available prices are not a like-for-like current pair: OnePlus’s India store listed the 15 at ₹85,999 or ₹93,999 on October 4, 2026, while the Nord 6 page gives only a ₹35,000–₹40,000 launch segment, not a current exact price. Check current listings in your country before treating any price gap as definitive.

Specifications and availability vary by market. The figures above reflect the linked global or India sources identified in each row, not a claim that every regional model has identical hardware.
Which phone is better: OnePlus 15 or Nord 6?
Choose the OnePlus 15 if your priority is the higher chipset tier and the more fully specified camera and video feature set. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is positioned above the Nord 6’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4; that is a specifications-based distinction, not a claim about a measured speed difference.
Choose the Nord 6 if you want a larger stated battery capacity and a phone positioned in a substantially lower Indian price segment at launch. Its 165Hz AMOLED display is a notable specification, but the peak refresh number alone does not make it equivalent to the OnePlus 15 display.

How different are the India prices?
OnePlus’s India store listed the OnePlus 15 at ₹85,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹93,999 for 16GB/512GB when accessed on October 4, 2026. The Nord 6’s official India page refers to the ₹35,000–₹40,000 segment at launch on April 7, 2026; it does not establish an exact current selling price for a specific Nord 6 variant.
Because those are different kinds of price information—a dated live store listing for the OnePlus 15 and a launch-segment reference for the Nord 6—subtracting them would not produce a reliable current price difference. Compare live prices for the same country, storage configuration, and purchase terms, and account for discounts and stock status.
For context only, OnePlus announced North American launch prices on November 13, 2025 of US$899.99/C$1,299.99 for the OnePlus 15 12GB/256GB and US$999.99/C$1,399.99 for 16GB/512GB. These are historical launch figures, not verified October 2026 prices. OnePlus said U.S. pricing could change with market conditions. The cited sources do not establish Nord 6 availability or price in North America.

Performance: flagship versus upper-midrange chipset
The clearest paper distinction is the processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for OnePlus 15 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for Nord 6. This supports calling the OnePlus 15 the higher performance tier, but it does not establish a particular benchmark result, speed multiple, or advantage in every workload.
OnePlus’s Nord 6 page describes some gaming tests under specific lab conditions, including 25°C ± 1°C ambient temperature. Its BGMI test used a 12GB model, Pro Gamer mode, Adaptive Frame Booster, “Ultra Extreme” 165 FPS with “Smooth” graphics, 280-nit display brightness, and 75dB volume. Those are manufacturer test conditions, not a promise that every user, game, region, or setting will produce the same result.
Battery and charging: Nord 6 has more capacity, not a proven runtime lead
The Nord 6 lists 9,000mAh, compared with 7,300mAh for the OnePlus 15. That makes the Nord 6 the larger-capacity option on the published specifications, but capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer between charges. OnePlus notes that battery life depends on factors including network, apps, calls, usage habits, device age, and settings.

Charging is region-dependent. The OnePlus 15 global specification lists 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, while OnePlus’s North American release specifies up to 80W wired in the U.S. and Canada and up to 120W internationally. The Nord 6 India page lists 80W wired charging. Confirm the specification for the exact regional model and check whether a suitable adapter is included before buying.
Displays: the same peak figure does not mean the same screen
OnePlus specifies the global OnePlus 15 screen as 6.78 inches, 2772 × 1272 resolution, adaptive 1–120Hz, and up to 165Hz in gaming. OnePlus India advertises the Nord 6 as having a 165Hz AMOLED display. The cited Nord 6 information does not support filling in a directly comparable resolution or panel specification here. Nor does a 165Hz peak establish how often the screen uses that rate outside supported games.
Cameras: OnePlus 15 has more stated zoom and video capabilities
OnePlus describes the OnePlus 15 with three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3.5× optical periscope telephoto, and support for 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video. The Nord 6’s India product page lists a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS, a 32MP front camera, and 4K 60fps video.
On the published feature list, the OnePlus 15 offers a more extensively specified rear-camera arrangement, especially for optical zoom and video capture. These specifications do not prove which phone produces better images or video in real use.
Software support and regional details
OnePlus India says the Nord 6 will receive four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The cited sources do not establish a comparable OnePlus 15 commitment, so a direct support-duration ranking is not justified.
OnePlus’s Nord 6 page includes the qualification “5G-Advanced with Reliance Jio only.” Treat that as a network-specific India claim rather than a promise of the same feature with every carrier or in every country. Regional model, carrier support, charging rate, availability, and price can differ; verify the exact version sold where you plan to use the phone.
