Yes, the OnePlus 15 can last two days for some reviewers, and its endurance is the phone’s clearest standout. Tom’s Guide recorded 25 hours and 13 minutes in a battery-drain test and separately used its review unit for 2 days, 11 hours, and 5 minutes before it reached 2%. WIRED also reported charging it every other day. Those results make the battery proposition compelling, but they are individual test and usage experiences—not a promise that every owner will get two days.
How long does the OnePlus 15 battery last?
There are three useful—but not interchangeable—independent reviewer observations:
- Tom’s Guide battery-drain test: 25 hours and 13 minutes.
- Tom’s Guide personal use: 2 days, 11 hours, and 5 minutes before the phone reached 2% battery.
- WIRED personal use: reviewer Julian Chokkattu said he charged the phone every other day after more than a week of testing, recording 10.5 hours of screen-on time across two days.
The first is a test result; the others describe reviewers’ own usage. The outlets do not establish a shared test protocol, so the figures should not be compared as though they were measured under identical conditions. Your result can vary with workload, signal, display settings, software, and other usage factors. OnePlus likewise cautions that actual battery life varies with usage, network, and settings.
For a buyer, the practical takeaway is not that two days are guaranteed, but that multiple reviewers found unusually long endurance in their own testing. That is persuasive evidence if reducing charging frequency is a priority.

What the battery and charging specifications say
OnePlus lists a serial dual-cell battery for the US model: two cells with a typical capacity of 3,650mAh each, equivalent to 7,300mAh, and typical energy of 27.6Wh. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent battery-life measurements. See OnePlus’s US specifications.
OnePlus’s North American launch announcement lists 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. Those are manufacturer-stated capabilities for North America; check the page for your market before assuming a regional model or charger has the same specifications: OnePlus’s North American announcement.
Tom’s Guide measured its review unit at 45% after 15 minutes and 81% after 30 minutes. The publication said charging peaked at 65W using the included SUPERVOOC charger. It also mentioned an optional OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W GaN charger; that optional charger should not be confused with the one included in the review. These are the reviewer’s results, not a guaranteed charge rate for every setup.
Wireless charging has a compatibility trade-off
WIRED reports that the OnePlus 15 supports standard Qi wireless charging but is not Qi2 Ready. OnePlus sells magnetic cases, but adding one does not make the phone Qi2 Ready. If magnetic alignment and Qi2 compatibility are important to you, treat that as a separate buying consideration rather than assuming a magnetic case resolves it.
Where the OnePlus 15 compromises
Camera results depend on what you shoot
Tom’s Guide describes a triple rear-camera setup and reports good results from its 3.5x optical-zoom comparison. The same review criticizes selfie softness and washed-out skin tones in its comparison. It also notes native 8K recording at 30fps and 4K recording at 120fps. These are reviewer observations and listed capabilities; they do not establish how every photo or video will look. If camera quality matters as much as battery life, compare actual samples—especially selfies, zoom shots, and video—from the kind of scenes you shoot.

Performance numbers are test-specific
Tom’s Guide identifies the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and reports Geekbench 6 scores of 3,618 single-core and 11,116 multi-core for its tested phone. Those figures describe that test and unit; they are not a guarantee of performance in every app or workload. The review also discusses OxygenOS 16 and built-in AI photo tools.

The battery case is strong if your main goal is fewer charging stops: Tom’s Guide’s drain test and personal-use account, alongside WIRED’s separate every-other-day experience, support the phone’s standout endurance. Balance that advantage against the Qi2 limitation and the camera weaknesses Tom’s Guide observed, particularly if you rely on selfies. For a broader flagship comparison, weigh battery results and test methods alongside wired and wireless charging compatibility, camera output, performance, display, regional configuration, and current local pricing. Tom’s Guide compared the phone with the Pixel 10 Pro XL, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, but its conclusions and price context reflect its 2025 review.
Tom’s Guide listed a US starting price of $899.99 for the Infinite Black configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in its review published November 13, 2025. That is historical review-era pricing, not a current October 2026 quote; check the OnePlus store or local retailer for today’s price and availability.

OnePlus’s North American launch announcement lists IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, describing protection that includes immersion up to 2 metres for 30 minutes and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets up to 80°C. These are manufacturer claims about resistance, not a guarantee that damage is impossible or covered. The ratings and described conditions should not be read as permission to expose the phone to water unnecessarily.
OnePlus’s safety guide recommends charging between 5°C and 35°C, says flash charging may not activate below 15°C or above 35°C, and advises using manufacturer-approved chargers, cables, batteries, and accessories. Follow the guide and the instructions for your particular regional model and charger.
