On paper, the OnePlus has the stronger listed processor and a more versatile rear-camera setup. The vivo post reports a larger battery and a slightly larger curved display, but those claims should be treated as unverified. A reliable current price difference cannot be established from the available figures.

Which phone has the stronger specifications?
Performance and storage
On published specifications, the OnePlus 13R has the clearer performance advantage: OnePlus lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. The vivo Community post reports a Dimensity 7360-Turbo, 8GB RAM and UFS 3.1. This is a specification comparison, not a benchmark or a claim about measured real-world performance; the vivo figures have weaker sourcing.

Display and battery
OnePlus officially lists a 6.78-inch LTPO display with a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate and a 6,000 mAh battery. The vivo post reports a 6.83-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED display at 120Hz and a 7,050 mAh battery. If those community figures are accurate, the vivo pairs the larger reported battery with a slightly larger display; they do not establish actual battery life, which also depends on software, settings and use.
Rear cameras
The documented OnePlus setup includes three distinct cameras: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2× optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide. The vivo post reports a 50MP+2MP rear-camera arrangement, with no telephoto or ultrawide listed. That gives the OnePlus more documented focal-length options, but megapixel counts and camera lists alone do not determine image quality.
Rank #2
What is the price difference?
OnePlus India lists MRPs of ₹42,999 for the 12GB+256GB 13R and ₹49,999 for the 16GB+512GB model. These are manufacturer-listed MRPs, not current checkout prices; the OnePlus product overview describes the phone as starting at ₹42,999.
The vivo Community post gives ₹39,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₹44,999 for 8GB+256GB. Those are user-posted figures, not prices verified on an official vivo specification or pricing page. Since the memory and storage configurations differ, and live discounts, availability and sellers can change, these figures do not establish which phone currently costs less. The 91mobiles comparison does not provide a dependable basis here for a present-day price gap.

Quick Recap
Which should you choose?
- Choose the OnePlus 13R if you want specifications published by the manufacturer, a listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, or a rear camera system with both 2× optical zoom and an ultrawide camera.
- Consider the vivo S2 5G if its reported larger battery and curved display appeal to you, but verify the exact model, specifications, warranty and seller details before buying. Those details are not confirmed by the official vivo source cited here.
- Decide on price only after checking live listings. The published OnePlus MRPs and user-posted vivo prices are not directly comparable transaction prices.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
