The OnePlus 11 is the higher-tier phone, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a sharper, adaptive LTPO display. The OnePlus 11R has a lower published India MRP and a slightly larger screen. Both India specification pages list a 5,000 mAh battery, 100W charging and the same 50 MP Sony IMX890 main-camera sensor. Which is the better fit depends chiefly on the price of the exact version available to you and whether the 11’s display and platform upgrades matter.

What are the biggest differences?
The OnePlus 11 has the newer chipset
The OnePlus 11 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the 11R uses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. That makes the 11 the newer platform on paper, but the listed specifications do not establish a measured performance gap. No benchmark or comparative real-world test is available here, so it would be misleading to promise a particular speed advantage.
The OnePlus 11 screen is sharper and uses LTPO
The 11R’s 6.74-inch screen is slightly larger diagonally than the OnePlus 11’s 6.7-inch screen. However, the 11 has the higher listed resolution—3216 × 1440 versus 2772 × 1240—and higher pixel density, 525 ppi versus 450 ppi. Its LTPO AMOLED panel is listed with an adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate; the 11R is listed as a 120 Hz AMOLED display. Choose the 11 for the higher resolution and adaptive panel, or the 11R if you prefer its marginally larger listed size.

- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]

- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment

Camera hardware differs beyond the shared main sensor
Both India specification pages identify a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS. The 11R’s listed secondary cameras are an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera. The OnePlus 11 US page lists a 48 MP ultrawide and a 32 MP camera with 2× optical zoom alongside its 50 MP main camera. These specifications describe hardware, not comparative photo quality; they do not establish which phone takes better pictures in practice.
Memory and storage options depend on configuration
The listed configurations are not identical. The OnePlus 11 pairs its 128GB option with UFS 3.1 and its 256GB option with UFS 4.0, while the 11R page lists 128GB, 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 options. The 11R page also lists an 18GB LPDDR5 memory option for Solar Red; its other listed memory options are LPDDR5X. Check the exact color and configuration offered by the seller rather than assuming every version has the same memory and storage.

What is the price difference?
On the OnePlus India product pages, the OnePlus 11 MRP is ₹56,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹61,999 for 16GB/256GB and ₹64,999 for the 16GB/256GB Marble Odyssey edition. The 11R page lists ₹39,999, with Solar Red at ₹45,999. These are published India MRP amounts; they do not establish current selling prices, stock or a guaranteed saving at a retailer.
Do not treat the lowest listed price for each model as a like-for-like comparison: the OnePlus 11’s ₹56,999 figure is for 8GB/128GB, while its other listed prices are for 16GB/256GB configurations. The exact 11R configuration associated with each MRP is not specified in the figures available here. Check the current price for the same storage tier where possible, along with seller condition and warranty.

For the United States, OnePlus lists the 11 from $699.99, but a comparable US OnePlus 11R price is not established here. India’s rupee MRPs cannot be used to claim a US price difference, and converting them does not show local value.
Battery and charging: compare by region
Both India product pages list a 5,000 mAh battery and 100W SUPERVOOC charging for their respective phones. The US OnePlus 11 page lists 80W charging instead. The available specifications do not establish battery endurance, charging time in a controlled test or how long either phone lasts in a particular usage pattern.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the OnePlus 11 if its upgrades justify the price
- You want the higher-resolution QHD+ LTPO display with adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh.
- You prefer the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.
- The published India price of the exact 11 configuration you want fits your budget.
- You are considering the US model and value the camera hardware listed on OnePlus’s US page, including its ultrawide and 2× optical telephoto cameras.
Choose the OnePlus 11R if its lower India MRP is the priority
- You want to pay less according to the published India MRP figures.
- The 120 Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 meet your needs.
- You are comparing India variants and want the 100W charging specification listed for the 11R there.
- You have checked the precise color, memory and storage configuration available from your seller.
What to check before buying
- Confirm your region and exact model. Charging and camera specifications on the US OnePlus 11 page differ from details on the India pages.
- Compare the same storage tier. The listed configurations and storage types differ, so compare the actual variants rather than only model names.
- Check the current seller listing. Published MRP is not a live price; confirm availability, device condition and warranty with the seller.
- Decide which hardware differences matter to you. The clearest stated distinctions are chipset generation, display resolution and LTPO, and the listed secondary-camera hardware.
OnePlus announced the OnePlus 11 5G at an event in New Delhi on February 7, 2023. The date provides context for the model’s launch, but does not confirm present-day retailer availability or pricing.
