The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is the clearer choice on published specifications and long-term support; the available official information is not enough to declare it better in camera quality, speed, or battery life than the Nothing Phone (4a). Price depends on market, date, and storage tier: the available figures are not like-for-like. This comparison uses official UK pricing where available and identifies separate US and Korean Samsung prices rather than mixing currencies into a single price difference.
At a glance: which phone is better?
Choose the Galaxy A37 5G if a published IP68 rating, a specified 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, and Samsung’s stated software-support term matter most. Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) only after checking its exact local configuration, price, and the hardware or support details that matter to you: the official Nothing material available here confirms its triple-camera system and advertises up to 70x zoom, but does not provide enough detail for a full specs comparison.

Specifications compared
Samsung publishes substantially more A37 hardware and support detail in the cited announcements. “Not verified from cited official material” means a comparable Nothing specification was not established here; it does not mean the phone lacks that feature.

Pick the A37 for documented durability and support
Samsung’s published IP68 rating is useful if water and dust resistance is a deciding factor. Its stated support term also gives buyers a clearer documented basis for planning several years of use. The term is an “up to” promise counted from first global launch, with timing and availability qualified by model and market.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Consider the Phone (4a) if its local deal and camera features fit
Nothing presents the Phone (4a) as a triple-camera phone and promotes up to 70x ultra zoom. That is a manufacturer feature claim, not proof of optical zoom throughout the range or of better photos than the Samsung. Check the local product listing for the exact memory/storage option and full specifications before deciding.
Do not infer a performance or photo winner from this table
The available official specifications do not provide a verified processor comparison, comparative camera tests, or battery-endurance measurements. A higher advertised zoom number, camera megapixel count, or battery capacity by itself does not establish which phone performs better in real use.
Quick Recap
Check before buying
- Compare phones sold in your country, using the same storage tier and current prices.
- Confirm the exact SKU, local warranty, carrier-band compatibility, and availability with the seller or carrier.
- If the Nothing’s display, charging, IP rating, processor, or support duration is central to your choice, verify it on the official regional listing; those details are not established by the cited Nothing material here.
- For the A37, check your local market’s specifications and feature availability; Samsung says regional, carrier, and model differences can apply.
