The OnePlus 15 has the larger listed battery and faster maximum display refresh rate; the Nothing Phone (3) has a different periscope zoom configuration and costs less in the listed US MSRP comparison. PhoneArena lists the 12 GB/256 GB OnePlus 15 at $899 and the Nothing Phone (3) at $799, a $100 difference—not a live-price guarantee. Which suits you depends on local pricing and the features you value.

Nothing Phone (3) vs OnePlus 15 specifications

The figures below combine manufacturer specifications with a PhoneArena database comparison. They describe listed capabilities, not independently measured everyday performance. In particular, battery capacity does not establish runtime, and a maximum refresh rate is not necessarily sustained in every app or setting.

Specification Nothing Phone (3) OnePlus 15
Display 6.7 inches; 120 Hz listing (PhoneArena) 6.78-inch LTPO 1.5K; up to 165 Hz (OnePlus US product page)

Water and dust resistance IP68 (PhoneArena database) IP69 (PhoneArena database)
Weight 218 g (PhoneArena database) 211 g (PhoneArena database)

Display and battery: OnePlus leads on listed capacity and refresh rate

The OnePlus 15’s listed battery capacity is 2,150 mAh greater than the standard Nothing Phone (3)’s. That is a capacity comparison, not a prediction of how long either phone lasts between charges: actual runtime depends on use, settings, network conditions, and testing method. TechRadar’s Phone (3) review described its battery as lasting a full day for that reviewer, while cautioning against assuming a second day; it was not a controlled comparison with the OnePlus 15.

For the display, OnePlus specifies a 6.78-inch LTPO 1.5K panel with dynamic refresh up to 165 Hz. PhoneArena lists the Nothing Phone (3) at 6.7 inches and 120 Hz. The OnePlus has the higher stated maximum and a slightly larger listed screen, but those figures alone do not establish which display looks better or how often the maximum refresh is used.

Camera systems: similar megapixel counts, different zoom ranges

Both phones are listed with three 50 MP rear cameras. Nothing’s UK specifications identify a main camera, ultra-wide camera, and periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom. OnePlus specifies a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and 7x optical-quality zoom.

Those zoom labels indicate different focal coverage, not an overall camera-quality ranking. Megapixel counts and zoom specifications cannot settle image processing, low-light results, video quality, or which camera produces better photos. No controlled head-to-head camera test is established here, so choose based on the focal lengths you use and compare sample images from a reliable review before buying.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Consider the OnePlus 15 if the higher listed battery capacity, up-to-165 Hz display, or its 3.5x optical/7x optical-quality periscope zoom better fits your priorities—and its price in your market works for you.
  • Consider the Nothing Phone (3) if its design-led identity, 3x optical periscope camera, or lower listed US MSRP is a better match. Its UK specifications also explicitly list 15 W wireless and 5 W reverse wireless charging.
  • Compare local listings before deciding. Match storage and RAM, check the regional model, and verify current prices. A US MSRP comparison does not establish the price gap in another country or at a particular retailer.
  • Do not choose on numbers alone. Capacity is not measured battery life, and a higher zoom label or megapixel count does not prove better photos. The specifications cited here do not establish a controlled camera winner or a like-for-like wireless charging-speed comparison.

PhoneArena also lists the OnePlus 15 as 7 g lighter and gives it an IP69 rating versus IP68 for the Nothing Phone (3). These are database-listed figures; check official regional product documentation for rating conditions and warranty exclusions before treating them as a durability guarantee.
