The right NFL streaming service depends on the game: your local Sunday afternoon matchup, an out-of-market Sunday game, a primetime broadcast, or a streaming-exclusive event. For the 2026 U.S. season, no single service in this guide carries every NFL game. Start with the matchup and your location, then check the NFL schedule by ZIP code before choosing a plan.
Match the game window to its service
This is the broad U.S. distribution map for the 2026 season, not a game-by-game listing. Local and national availability depends on broadcast rights and blackout restrictions, and specific assignments can change.
| Game or window | Where to watch | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday afternoon, local market | CBS or FOX; streaming options include Paramount+ for local CBS games and FOX One for local FOX games. A live-TV plan carrying the local station or over-the-air reception may also work. | Availability depends on your market, station, and the specific matchup. |
| Sunday afternoon, out of market | NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV or as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel | Covers out-of-market regular-season Sunday afternoon games shown on CBS and FOX. It does not include local broadcasts or national games. |
| Sunday Night Football | NBC; Peacock is a streaming option for viewers without NBC through a TV provider. | Peacock is not an all-games package. |
| Monday Night Football | ESPN or ABC | Access through a streaming app or TV plan depends on the package and provider. |
| Thursday Night Football and Black Friday | Prime Video | Check the season schedule for the particular matchup. |
| Christmas Day | Netflix | The 2026 season’s Christmas Day games are exclusive to Netflix. |
| São Paulo international game | YouTube | Applies to the specified international game, not the full schedule. |
| Select international and Saturday games | NFL Network | Only select games are included in this window. |
Choose by the games you want
Local Sunday afternoon games
Look for the local CBS or FOX station carrying the matchup. Depending on the station and your setup, you may be able to watch through a live-TV plan, the relevant standalone service—Paramount+ for local CBS games or FOX One for local FOX games—or an antenna receiving the station over the air. An antenna does not provide out-of-market or streaming-exclusive games, and reception depends on location and station availability.
One team’s Sunday afternoon games outside its home market
NFL Sunday Ticket is the relevant option for out-of-market regular-season Sunday afternoon games on CBS and FOX. It is offered either as an add-on to YouTube TV or standalone through YouTube Primetime Channels. The standalone version does not supply local channels; YouTube TV’s plan includes local and national broadcasts in its service area, separately from the Sunday Ticket add-on.

Primetime or exclusive matchups
Choose the service assigned to the specific window: Peacock for Sunday Night Football when you do not get NBC through a TV provider; the applicable ESPN or ABC access for Monday Night Football; Prime Video for Thursday Night Football and Black Friday; and Netflix for the 2026 Christmas Day games. Streaming rights are specific to the window and season, so having one of these services does not imply access to other games.
Phone or tablet viewing, audio, and replays
NFL+ offers live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on a phone or tablet, live out-of-market preseason games, live audio for every game, and other NFL content. NFL+ Premium adds RedZone and replays. NFL+ does not include Sunday Ticket.

Check a specific game before you subscribe
- Open the NFL schedule tool and enter your ZIP code to see the local-market view and available viewing services.
- Find the matchup and note its date, kickoff window, and listed channel or service. Decide whether it is local, out of market, nationally televised, or exclusive to a streaming service.
- Recheck the listing close to game day. Flex scheduling and game assignments can change, especially later in the season.
- Confirm that the service’s current package, local-channel lineup, device support, provider login, and restrictions fit your setup. For YouTube, distinguish the live-TV plan from the standalone Sunday Ticket option.
What to verify in your market
The NFL’s ZIP-code schedule is the practical starting point for checking local availability, but confirm the final listing because matchups and assignments can shift. A service’s name alone does not establish that it carries the game you want: market, game window, and broadcast rights all matter.
