Which new games ranked highest in Pure Xbox’s October chart snapshot?
In its October 5, 2026 report, Pure Xbox highlighted these six games and their positions on the Xbox Top Paid chart it observed:

What the chart positions do—and do not—show
A Top Paid position indicates where a title appeared in the chart at the time of the publisher’s observation. It does not disclose units sold, revenue, player count, review quality or how far apart the games were in sales. The report provides no chart methodology, sales totals or timestamped capture from Microsoft.

Pure Xbox’s News Editor Fraser Gilbert cautioned that “all of this should be taken with a pinch of salt due to how slowly Xbox updates its charts in general.” The report characterized the high placements as suggesting strong launch sales, but the chart positions alone do not verify that conclusion. The linked Xbox Top Paid games page is the relevant Microsoft chart; these figures are attributed to Pure Xbox rather than independently confirmed live positions.
Why the mix of titles stands out
The noteworthy part of the snapshot is its range: an asymmetrical horror sandbox sits above cooperative survival, while an extraction game, close-quarters action title, racing game and physics-based gladiator fighter also appear in the reported list. That variety makes the snapshot interesting as a cross-genre look at chart placement, but it does not establish why any one game ranked where it did.
