When will your Netflix bill increase?
New members were shown the updated rates starting March 26, 2026. Existing subscribers were to receive an email one month before their own new price took effect, with the rollout occurring over the following months according to billing cycle. Your account notice is the best source for the exact amount and effective date for your subscription.

What to check before changing plans
If you are weighing a plan change, compare the features you actually use as well as the monthly price. Netflix lists differences by plan in areas such as ads, resolution, simultaneous devices, downloads, and extra-member eligibility. A feature difference alone does not mean upgrading or downgrading is worthwhile for your household.
Netflix says prices and extra-member eligibility can vary by location and package. Its Help Center page may display localized prices, so do not treat a price shown there in another currency as a U.S. rate. Check your own account for available plans and terms. Why did Netflix raise prices?
A Netflix spokesperson told ABC News that the company was updating prices as it reinvests in entertainment quality and members’ experience. That is Netflix’s stated rationale for the change, not independent evidence that the increase will produce a particular improvement.
