The report count and Netflix’s five-minute recovery statement describe different things. Downdetector reports can continue as people retry or report a problem after service has recovered, so the peak and the later decline do not establish that Netflix remained down for hours.
Did the season premiere cause Netflix to go down?
The brief issue coincided with the release, but the available statements do not establish that the episode launch caused it.
