For live Warriors games in the Bay Area, start with local TV. NBA League Pass is designed for out-of-market games and blacks out games televised locally in your area; the NBA says those games become available on League Pass on demand three days later. Outside the Warriors’ local market, League Pass is usually the more useful choice for live games, though national broadcasts can still be unavailable there. Check the NBA’s ZIP-code blackout tool and the broadcaster listed for each game before choosing.
Which option is best depends on where you watch
League Pass does not provide a universal live feed of every Warriors game. The NBA says blackout restrictions apply in the United States and Canada because local and national broadcasters hold exclusive live rights. Your location and the broadcast assignment for a particular game determine whether it is live on League Pass.
If you are in the Bay Area
Local TV is the better starting point for live games that are televised in the Warriors’ local market. League Pass blacks out those locally televised games in the affected area. The NBA says they become available on demand three days after the game, so it can still suit viewers who are willing to wait for a replay.
If you are outside the Warriors’ local market
League Pass is generally the better option for watching out-of-market Warriors games live, provided a national broadcast restriction does not apply. A game carried nationally is a separate case: League Pass does not show national games live, so check the game’s listed broadcaster.

The NBA’s 2026-27 viewing guide, published August 13, 2026, identifies ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, and Prime Video as national partners. League Pass is for games not available on a national platform or in the viewer’s local market. The guide also describes Tap to Watch, which directs fans through NBA digital properties and participating partner sites to where a game is available.
How to check whether a Warriors game is available to you
- Open the NBA’s League Pass page and use its ZIP-code blackout checker to check your location.
- Look up the specific Warriors game on the current NBA schedule and note its listed broadcaster. Do not assume that one service carries every game.
- If it is a national broadcast, check the broadcaster’s current schedule and access options; League Pass does not carry that game live.
- If it is locally televised where you live, use the local broadcast option for live viewing or wait three days for the League Pass on-demand replay.
For the 2026-27 season, the NBA lists ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, and Prime Video among its national partners. The NBA’s official Warriors schedule from 2025-26 includes ABC, Peacock, ESPN, Prime, NBC, and NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast markings, but that is prior-season context—not a guide to 2026-27 game assignments. Local channel availability and carriage can vary; verify the current game and your ZIP code rather than assuming a particular provider carries it.

League Pass plans and listed prices
As listed on the NBA purchase page accessed October 4, 2026, the two season plans differ in price and features. Prices can change, so confirm the current amount before subscribing.
| Plan | Listed season price | Listed features |
|---|---|---|
| League Pass | $109.99 per season, as accessed October 4, 2026 | One device; includes commercials. |
| League Pass Premium | $159.99 per season, as accessed October 4, 2026 | Up to three devices; offline downloads; no commercials. |
Premium’s extra features do not change which games are blacked out. Compare the cost of League Pass with the local TV or streaming package you would need for live local games, as well as any separate access required for national broadcasts. The right comparison is your total cost for the games you actually want to watch, not simply the subscription price.

The NBA App is supported on a range of devices, including iOS and Android phones, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick, and other listed platforms. Some device support is limited to select countries. Desktop viewing is available at NBA.com. Check the NBA’s League Pass FAQs for the current supported-device list.
If you do not already have a compatible way to stream, a Fire TV Stick is one possible way to run the NBA App on a television. A streaming device only provides a way to access the app; it does not include a League Pass subscription, remove blackouts, or provide access to a broadcaster’s service.

Choose based on how you watch
- Live games in the Bay Area: Begin with the local broadcast option and confirm the game’s listed broadcaster.
- Warriors games outside the local market: League Pass is generally the more useful option for live out-of-market games, subject to national restrictions.
- Mostly replays: League Pass may work for locally blacked-out games if a three-day delay is acceptable.
- Every game you can watch: Check each game individually. No single League Pass subscription guarantees live access to every Warriors game.
- Lowest total cost: Add up the local TV or streaming package and any separate national-broadcast access you need, then compare that total with the League Pass plan and features you would use.
What the audience figures do—and do not—tell you
The NBA reported 170 million viewers for the 2025-26 regular season across games on ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, NBC/Peacock, and NBA TV. That is a league-wide audience figure, not a Warriors-specific measure, and it does not establish that one viewing option is better for an individual fan.
