At the reported price, the appeal is a discrete RTX 5060 Ti and Ryzen 7 processor in a complete desktop, alongside a 1TB SSD. The main specification to weigh is the GPU’s 8GB of memory; the system also ships with 16GB of RAM rather than a larger capacity. Whether those trade-offs suit you depends on the games and settings you use. The report provides no game-by-game benchmark results with which to quantify performance.
Can it handle 1080p or 1440p gaming?
Tom’s Hardware describes the system as a 1080p gaming PC and says 1440p is possible with reasonable image-quality expectations. That is the publication’s positioning, not a disclosed independent benchmark. The deal passage does not provide frame rates, named games, graphics presets or test conditions, so use it as broad guidance rather than a performance guarantee.

What should you compare before buying?
For another prebuilt, compare the exact delivered price and warranty as well as the parts that shape performance and upgrade options:
- GPU model and graphics-memory capacity.
- CPU and platform.
- Installed RAM capacity and module configuration.
- SSD capacity and interface.
- Available memory and M.2 slots, plus any limits on upgrades.
For context, KOTIN lists a separate Ryzen 7 8700F / RTX 5060 Ti 8GB desktop with 16GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD at $1,399.99. That listing is a comparison reference, not proof that the MSI offer remains available or that the PCs have identical components. Another Newegg listing pairs an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB with a Ryzen 5 9600X, 16GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD; the available information does not establish a comparable current price or the full feature set.

How much weight should you give the reported sales figure?
Tom’s Hardware relayed Walmart’s claim that customers had bought more than 500 units since the previous day. That is a retailer-reported figure with a specific time boundary, not an independent audit of sales or evidence of the PC’s performance.
