The Samsung Galaxy S25 is the clearer choice if you want a phone you can evaluate and buy now; the Motorola Signature 27 is a wait-and-compare option. Motorola has announced selected camera, processor, and software details for the Signature 27 and expects it in markets worldwide during 2026, but has not announced its price, exact release date, or complete specifications. That means there is not yet enough information for a fair value or real-world performance verdict.
What is known about the Signature 27—and what is not
Motorola describes the Signature 27 as the second generation of its Signature family. Its 2026 announcement names a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform, an ArcticMesh cooling system, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, video enhancement processing, and 3.5-degree OIS hardware. Motorola also highlights Gemini-related features and says this is its first smartphone with Audio by B&O. These are manufacturer disclosures and claims, not independent test results. Motorola’s Signature 27 announcement does not provide a full specification sheet.
Motorola expects the phone to reach markets worldwide during 2026, with further details closer to availability. It has not provided an exact launch date, confirmed availability in every country, retail price, or storage options. Treat worldwide availability as Motorola’s expectation, not a guarantee that the phone will launch everywhere at the same time.

Do not confuse Signature 27 with the earlier motorola signature
Several specifications circulating for a phone called “motorola signature” apply to the earlier model, not the newly announced Signature 27. Motorola’s support page for that earlier phone lists a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 5,200mAh battery, 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, IP68/IP69 protection, and three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3x periscope telephoto camera. None of those figures establishes the Signature 27’s specifications. Motorola’s earlier Signature specifications are useful only when identifying that distinct model.
Likewise, 91mobiles’ India comparison snapshot lists prices of ₹66,499 for the Galaxy S25 and ₹59,890 for the earlier motorola signature when that page was checked in 2026. Those are regional, time-sensitive figures for the older comparison—not Signature 27 launch prices or current universal prices.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy S25 if you need a decision now
The S25 is the practical option if you are shopping before the Signature 27’s launch details are available. Its 6.2-inch display gives a known compact-size reference, and its camera configuration is reported in the existing comparison. Check current local stock, price, storage, and seller terms before buying; the India price snapshot is not a reliable guide to another market or a later date.
Wait for Signature 27 details if Motorola’s hardware is promising to you
The announced 200MP periscope camera, named processor platform, and long software-support commitment may make the Signature 27 worth comparing once Motorola publishes its full specifications and local retail details. The announcement alone cannot establish photo quality, zoom performance, battery life, speed under sustained use, or value against the S25.

Compare the essentials when the Signature 27 is available locally
- Price and availability: Compare the same storage configuration and market, and confirm the exact model and seller.
- Size: The S25 is listed with a 6.2-inch display; Signature 27 dimensions and display size are not yet announced.
- Camera results: Compare independent sample photos and reviews rather than megapixel counts alone. The available Signature 27 details are hardware claims, not a head-to-head image-quality test.
- Software support: Motorola’s stated Signature 27 policy is seven OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates from global launch, subject to market, carrier, or model terms. Check the terms applying to the exact regional model.
- Everyday fit: Consider the software features and ecosystem you already use, as well as the size, camera range, and support policy you value most.

For a purchase today, the Galaxy S25 is the more actionable choice because the Signature 27’s price, launch date, and full specification sheet are not yet known. If you can wait, compare the Signature 27 against the S25 after local availability and independent testing clarify its size, camera performance, battery life, and value.
