The Moto G37 Power 5G has a documented 7,000mAh battery and an India-listed price, but there is not enough verified information to make a fair specs or price comparison with the POCO M8x 5G. A Xiaomi Community firmware roundup identifies the POCO model, but does not provide its hardware or retail price. Treat the comparison as provisional until POCO publishes specifications and a same-market listing.

Moto G37 Power 5G specifications
Battery, charging and endurance
Motorola Support India lists a 7,000mAh battery, with a rated capacity of 6,790mAh, 30W TurboPower wired charging and 6W wired reverse charging. Motorola also claims battery life of “Up to 62 hours”; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test result. Motorola’s specification page notes that specifications can vary by market.
Display and performance
The India specification lists a 16.94cm LCD with HD+ resolution of 1604 × 720, 264 pixels per inch and a 120Hz refresh rate. High-brightness mode is listed at up to 1,050 nits. The processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 built on a 6nm process, with an octa-core CPU up to 2.5GHz and Arm Mali-G57 MP2 graphics. These listed figures describe the phone; they do not establish how its performance compares with the POCO M8x.
Memory, cameras and other features
Motorola lists 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4X physical RAM and 128GB internal storage, with microSD expansion up to 1TB. The page also refers to RAM Boost expandable to 12GB; that is boosted or virtual memory wording, not a third physical-RAM configuration. The listed rear main camera is 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. Front-camera video capture is listed up to 2K at 30fps.

Do not substitute specifications for the POCO M8 5G: Xiaomi Global has a page for that different model, but the available evidence does not confirm that its hardware matches the M8x. The POCO M8 5G product page is therefore not a reliable basis for filling in M8x comparison fields.

Which one should you choose?
Consider the Moto G37 Power 5G if
- You want a manufacturer-documented 7,000mAh battery and can weigh Motorola’s up-to-62-hour endurance claim as a claim rather than an independent result.
- You are shopping in India and find the exact memory/storage variant at a price that suits you.
- You are comfortable with an HD+ 120Hz display: the refresh rate is high, but resolution is 1604 × 720 rather than a higher-resolution panel.
Wait for a verified POCO M8x comparison if
- You need to compare screen resolution, battery capacity, charging speed, chipset, memory, durability or connectivity before choosing.
- You need to know which phone is cheaper in your market. There is no verified M8x retail price in the available evidence.
