The Montech HyperFlow ARGB is a competitively priced all-in-one CPU cooler available with a 240mm or 360mm radiator. The 360mm model is the stronger choice for sustained high CPU loads if your case fits it; the 240mm version is easier to accommodate and can suit a moderate-load build. Both offer broad Intel and AMD socket support, ARGB lighting, and a six-year warranty.
Is the Montech HyperFlow ARGB worth it?
It is worth considering if you want a liquid cooler with strong tested cooling performance without moving into a premium price tier. Tom’s Hardware lists launch MSRPs of $94.99 for the 360mm model and $84.90 for the 240mm model, and rated the 360mm version among the strongest 360mm AIO coolers it had tested. Those are launch prices, not a guarantee of today’s price or availability.
Independent test results indicate that the 360mm version has more thermal headroom, but they come from different test setups and should not be compared as if they were one controlled head-to-head test. Your results will depend on the CPU, case airflow, fan settings, and room temperature.
Should you choose the 240mm or 360mm model?
| Consideration | HyperFlow ARGB 240 | HyperFlow ARGB 360 |
|---|---|---|
| Radiator size | 240mm; check that your case supports the radiator’s length and 27mm thickness, plus fan clearance. | 360mm; requires a case mounting position with enough length and clearance for the radiator and fans. |
| Tested thermal headroom | Tom’s Hardware reported approximately 256W average maximum tested TDP with an Intel Core i7-14700K. KitGuru measured an average CPU temperature 69°C above ambient on an overclocked Ryzen 9 7950X with fans at maximum speed. | Tom’s Hardware reported approximately 275W average maximum tested TDP with an Intel Core i7-14700K. KitGuru measured an average CPU temperature 64°C above ambient on an overclocked Ryzen 9 7950X with fans at maximum speed. |
| Best fit | Cases with limited radiator space and builds with moderate CPU heat loads. | Cases that support a 360mm radiator and CPUs expected to sustain high power draw. |
| Launch MSRP | $84.90, as listed by Tom’s Hardware at launch; current price varies. | $94.99, as listed by Tom’s Hardware at launch; current price varies. |
| Shared features | Black or white finish, ARGB lighting, 3100 RPM pump, 27mm-thick aluminum radiator, included thermal paste, broad Intel and AMD socket support, and six-year warranty. | |
Choose the 360mm model for sustained high-power workloads when your case supports it. Choose the 240mm model when fit or budget matters more and your expected CPU load is moderate. Neither test figure guarantees a particular temperature in your system.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Can it cool an Intel Core i7-14700K or Ryzen 9 7950X?
Both models were tested with these high-performance processors, but the published measurements describe specific review conditions, not a universal pass-or-fail limit. Tom’s Hardware’s test table reports approximately 275W average maximum tested TDP for the 360mm cooler and 256W for the 240mm with an Intel Core i7-14700K. KitGuru, testing an overclocked Ryzen 9 7950X with fans at maximum speed, measured average CPU temperatures 64°C above ambient for the 360mm model and 69°C above ambient for the 240mm model.
These results support the 360mm model as the better option for sustained high heat loads. They do not establish how either cooler will perform with your case, ambient temperature, CPU power limits, or preferred noise level. For a high-power CPU, also check that your case airflow and radiator placement are adequate.

What is the current price of the HyperFlow ARGB?
Prices depend on seller, region, stock, and date, so there is no reliable universal cheapest price. Tom’s Hardware’s launch MSRPs were $84.90 for the 240mm and $94.99 for the 360mm. A price-history listing for the Amazon US white 360mm model (ASIN B0D4PTC4RH) recorded $95.90 at its update; that figure is a dated snapshot, not a live offer. Check the delivered price and availability with the retailer before buying.
