Capcom’s official sources reviewed do not confirm a mobile edition of Monster Hunter Rise. That means there is no verified Rise-on-mobile version to compare with the Nintendo Switch release. Capcom does document Rise for Switch, while Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Outlanders are separate mobile games—not mobile versions of Rise.
Is Monster Hunter Rise available on iPhone or Android?
The official Capcom material available for this comparison documents Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch, but does not establish a Rise release for iPhone or Android. Capcom’s mobile-games catalog lists mobile titles including Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Outlanders, not Rise. A catalog page alone cannot prove that no other app-store listing exists, so check for a current official listing or Capcom announcement if availability may have changed.

Until Capcom or an authorized app-store listing confirms a mobile edition, treat claims that Monster Hunter Rise is playable as a native phone game as unverified. A same-title mobile release should identify the game and its publisher clearly; the Monster Hunter name by itself is not evidence that an app is Rise.
Monster Hunter Now and Outlanders are different games
Monster Hunter Now
Capcom describes Monster Hunter Now as a distinct iOS and Android game built around real-world encounters and location-based technology. Its gameplay, controls, and mobile design should not be attributed to Monster Hunter Rise.

Capcom announced an iOS and Android launch date of October 29, 2026; that date was still in the future as of October 7, 2026. Capcom’s description of controls optimized for mobile devices applies to Outlanders, not to a mobile version of Rise.

Capcom provides a Nintendo Switch-specific Monster Hunter Rise manual that documents Joy-Con controls. Its multi-platform manual documents other control layouts for supported platforms. This confirms that the controls vary by platform, but it does not establish a Rise touch-control scheme for phones.

How to verify a claimed mobile release
- Search the Apple App Store or Google Play for the exact title, Monster Hunter Rise, and check the publisher shown on the listing.
- Look for a matching announcement or product page on Capcom’s official site. Capcom’s mobile application catalog is useful context, but its contents alone are not conclusive proof that no other listing exists.
- Before installing or buying, confirm the release date, supported devices, region, price, controls, and whether the app is actually Rise rather than another Monster Hunter game.
