The Marshall Bromley 150 is a 6.3 kg portable party speaker with a manufacturer-claimed 40+ hours of playtime, IP55 dust and splash protection, stage lights, and inputs for a microphone or instrument. Those specifications make it designed for parties; they do not establish how it sounds in a real room or how long its battery lasts in independent testing.
What the Bromley 150 is designed to do
Marshall describes the Bromley 150 as its most portable party speaker. The company says it was released in 2026. Its feature set combines Bluetooth playback, lighting, and physical inputs, aiming at gatherings where users may want more than a conventional portable speaker. That is Marshall’s product positioning, not an independently tested verdict.
Marshall lists True Stereophonic 360° sound and stereo operation. The specifications describe the design, but no independent listening test or room-coverage measurement is established here, so they cannot tell you how evenly the speaker will fill a particular space.
How long does the battery last?
Marshall claims 40+ hours of portable playtime. Treat that as the manufacturer’s stated figure: no independent battery test conditions or results are available here, and actual runtime can depend on use. The speaker has a rechargeable, replaceable LFP (LiFePO4) battery.

What Hi-Fi? reported that a 20-minute charge provides five hours of playtime, attributing the figure to the manufacturer. The report does not give test conditions, so it is best read as a reported charging claim rather than a guaranteed result for every use.
Can it handle outdoor use?
The Bromley 150 is rated IP55. Marshall describes this as protection against dust and water splashes; it is not a waterproof rating. Its 6.3 kg weight and carry handle make it movable, but its dimensions—290 × 208 × 297 mm (11.42 × 8.19 × 11.69 in)—make it a substantial item to carry compared with a pocket-size Bluetooth speaker.

The Bromley 150 is worth considering if you want a portable speaker with a handle, long claimed battery life, splash and dust protection, built-in lighting, and direct microphone or instrument inputs. Its weight and size matter if you plan to carry it often, while the absent microphone means karaoke requires a separate compatible mic. If sound quality, room coverage, or battery performance under your specific conditions is the deciding factor, the listed figures alone cannot settle that question.
