The Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s is a compact, quiet Bluetooth keyboard that can switch among three paired devices. It is a good fit for everyday typing at a desk or on the move if you like its circular keys and tight layout. Its main trade-offs are no backlighting, a fixed typing angle, and two replaceable AAA batteries; it is not designed for competitive gaming.
What the K380s is—and who it suits
The K380s is a low-profile wireless keyboard for using with a computer, tablet, or phone. Logitech supports Bluetooth Low Energy and three-device switching through Easy-Switch buttons. Its small footprint and modest weight make it easy to move between a home desk and a bag, while its quiet typing is suited to shared spaces.
It is most appealing if portability and switching between devices matter more than a conventional full-size layout. The circular keycaps and close spacing are the biggest personal-fit question: reviewers at RTINGS and Windows Central both note that the design can take adjustment.
Design, layout, and typing feel
Small and light enough to carry
Logitech lists the keyboard at 279.5 × 124.2 × 16.4 mm. Its stated weight is 395 g without batteries and 415 g with them. The slim profile helps it fit into a bag, but the keyboard does not have adjustable feet, so its typing angle is fixed, according to Windows Central’s review.

Circular keys require a preference check
The K380s uses scissor keys with circular keycaps and relatively close spacing. RTINGS describes typing as quiet and notes the compact layout may feel cramped to people used to a full-size keyboard. Its review also says the short travel can feel abrupt for forceful typists. These are subjective fit issues, not defects that affect every user equally.
Logitech specifies 1.5 ± 0.3 mm of total key travel and 60 ± 10 gf actuation force. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of typing performance.

Connecting and switching between devices
You can pair the K380s with up to three Bluetooth devices and use its Easy-Switch buttons to move between them. Logitech lists Windows, macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS, and Linux compatibility. Its support guidance gives minimum versions of Windows 10, macOS 11, iPadOS 14, iOS 14, and Android 9.0; Chrome OS and Linux are listed without a version minimum. See Logitech’s getting-started guide for setup details.
Key behavior adapts to the active operating system. If automatic detection fails—or if you connect through a Logi Bolt receiver—Logitech says you can select the OS manually. Shortcuts can also vary by platform, so do not assume every function behaves identically across all your devices.

Does it include a USB receiver?
The standalone K380s package does not include a Logi Bolt receiver. Logitech says the receiver is included with the Pebble 2 Combo instead. The keyboard can be used over Bluetooth, and Logitech documents compatibility with a Logi Bolt USB receiver as an alternative. If you need a receiver, check that the exact listing is for a compatible Logi Bolt receiver before buying.
Battery life and software
Battery estimate varies between Logitech pages
The keyboard takes two AAA alkaline batteries. Logitech’s getting-started article estimates up to 36 months, while its separate specification page says more than 50 months. Both are manufacturer estimates, not independently measured runtimes; the discrepancy means it is sensible to plan around the more conservative up-to-36-month figure rather than treat either estimate as guaranteed.

Everyday office and mobile typing
RTINGS considers the K380s good for office use and a strong mobile or tablet option, citing quiet typing, portability, and multi-device Bluetooth pairing. Windows Central’s reviewer also reported quiet, consistent typing during several weeks of use. Those reviews support an everyday productivity use case, provided the compact key layout suits you.

Gaming and dark-room use
RTINGS says the keyboard can handle casual games, but its responsiveness and limited rollover make it a poor choice for fast-paced or competitive gaming. It also has no backlighting, which makes finding keys harder in a dark room. There are no dedicated media keys; media controls are available on the F-row by default.
Should you buy the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s?
Choose it if you want a quiet, lightweight keyboard that can serve three Bluetooth devices and you are comfortable with circular keys and compact spacing. Consider a conventional or full-size keyboard if you type for long stretches and find tight layouts tiring, or a backlit model if you regularly work in dim light. For gaming that depends on fast input, look elsewhere.
