The Logitech Mobi Fold is worth considering if you want a mouse that packs down easily for travel and works across several Bluetooth devices. Its main compromises are less certain comfort over long sessions and touch scrolling that reviewers found less precise than a physical wheel. It is best treated as a portable everyday-work mouse—not an ergonomic or competitive-gaming mouse.
What the Logitech Mobi Fold is
Logitech introduced the Mobi Fold on June 10, 2026 as its first foldable mouse. It folds for carrying and opens for use; Logitech says folding turns it off and unfolding powers it on. Instead of a conventional scroll wheel, it uses an Adaptive Touch Scrolling surface. The consumer model connects over Bluetooth to as many as three devices, has two customizable buttons, and uses a sensor rated up to 4K DPI. Logitech lists support for Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. See Logitech’s US Mobi Fold product page for current specifications and availability.
At the time that page was accessed on October 5, 2026, its listed US price was $79.99. Logitech’s June 2026 launch announcement gave launch MSRPs of $79.99 USD, $119.99 CAD, €79.99, and £69.99. These are time-sensitive prices, not a guarantee of current local pricing or stock. Logitech’s launch announcement also describes a separate Mobi Fold for Business package. That version includes a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver and Sync support; do not assume the receiver is included with the standard consumer mouse.
Logitech Mobi Fold pros
It folds down for travel
Portability is the clearest reason to choose the Mobi Fold. The body folds for carrying and opens when it is time to work, addressing the inconvenience of packing a conventional mouse. RTINGS and Tom’s Guide also identify portability as a strength in their reviews. Whether its folded shape fits your pocket or bag comfortably depends on the space you have available.
#1 Best Overall
- Ultra-portable mouse: Small, foldable, and ultra-thin, this lightweight mouse is ideal for on-the-go use; slips into your pocket or bag; unfold to power on, fold to power off
- Comfortable compact mouse: 22% less muscle strain compared to using a laptop’s trackpad (1)
- Multi-Device and OS: Connect with Bluetooth on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Android, iPadOS, Googlebook OS; Swift Pair and Fast Pair certified; hop across 3 devices with Easy-Switch; works with Logi Bolt, sold separately
- Precise tracking and scrolling: 4K DPI tracking and Adaptive Touch Scrolling offers line-by-line accuracy and hyperfast navigation
- Quiet clicks: Less distraction and more focus; ideal for shared spaces and public environments
It can serve multiple devices
Logitech advertises Bluetooth connections to up to three devices and support for six major operating-system families. That makes the advertised setup useful for people moving among, for example, a laptop, tablet, and phone. Check Logitech’s current support information for your particular device and OS before relying on a specific setup or feature.
Buttons and sensitivity can be configured
The mouse has two customizable buttons and a sensor rated up to 4K DPI. Tom’s Guide reports adjusting DPI and button behavior with Logi Options+. That kind of advanced configuration depends on compatible software support; it should not be assumed to work identically on every supported operating system or to be available out of the box everywhere.

It charges over USB-C and powers down when folded
Logitech describes USB-C charging and fold-controlled power. Its June 2026 launch announcement claims up to 30 days of use after a full charge and 22 hours of use from a one-minute charge. These are manufacturer figures, not a guarantee of the runtime any individual will get. Tom’s Guide later reports Logitech battery claims of 32 days on Bluetooth and 33 days with Bolt, illustrating that published figures vary by material and connection scenario.
Logitech Mobi Fold cons
Comfort depends on your hand and how long you use it
Reviewers do not agree on the Mobi Fold’s comfort. RTINGS says its shape is not particularly comfortable for long stretches, and PCWorld criticizes its narrow, low-profile form. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the arch comfortable for their hand but cautioned that larger-handed users may find it very small. If you use a mouse for long uninterrupted sessions or prefer a fuller shape, hand size and grip preference make this a product to assess carefully rather than assume will suit you.

Touch scrolling is less predictable than a wheel for some tasks
The touch surface replaces a tactile, physical scroll wheel. RTINGS and Tom’s Guide both report imprecise or jumpy scrolling. That can be a meaningful drawback in spreadsheets, long documents, or other work where you want consistent, controlled wheel steps. If a physical wheel is important to you, this design is a poor fit regardless of its portability.
Quiet-click marketing does not mean silent operation
Logitech markets quiet-click behavior, but Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the clicks loud. The available assessments therefore do not support a promise of silent use; if you need a nearly silent mouse in a shared space, do not rely on the marketing description alone.

It is not designed for competitive gaming
RTINGS reports a 125 Hz polling rate, high and inconsistent click latency, and a shape it does not recommend for competitive FPS or MMO play. It can still handle casual desktop pointing, but the reported limitations make it a poor choice when fast, consistent gaming input is the priority.
Receiver expectations vary by version
The standard consumer mouse is primarily Bluetooth. Tom’s Guide notes that a Bolt receiver is sold separately, while Logitech says the Business package includes a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver. Confirm which package you are buying if you specifically need a receiver rather than Bluetooth.

Who should consider the Mobi Fold?
- Consider it if you travel with a laptop or tablet, want a mouse that folds for carrying, and mainly need everyday pointing and device switching.
- Think carefully if comfort for long sessions, precise wheel scrolling, or quiet clicks matter more than packed size. Reviewer experiences vary, and touch scrolling is a recurring criticism.
- Choose another category if you want a mouse built around an ergonomic shape or competitive gaming performance.
Before comparing alternatives, decide which compromises matter most: folded size, hand comfort, touch surface versus physical wheel, multi-device switching, receiver inclusion, charging expectations, and local price. RTINGS compares the Mobi Fold with Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s and MX Anywhere models, Apple Magic Mouse, and Microsoft Arc/Surface Arc products; their different shapes, scrolling methods, and packed sizes mean there is no universal winner.
How the evidence should inform your decision
Logitech’s product page cites a 2025 ErgoLab study of 30 people and says the Mobi Fold produced 22% lower forearm muscle strain than an integrated trackpad. That is a manufacturer-reported result; the product page’s cited study details do not establish the full methodology here, and it is not an independent verification that this mouse is ergonomic or comfortable for every user.
Logitech’s June 2026 announcement also says its research found that 72% of professionals own a mouse while 26% use one in public. The announcement does not provide the underlying study details, so these should be understood as Logitech-reported figures, not independently audited population statistics. They are not needed to judge whether the Mobi Fold’s shape or scrolling will suit you.
