If a Livepush YouTube stream is stuck loading, first find out which connection leg is failing: your source or encoder to Livepush, or Livepush to YouTube. In Livepush, check the stream dashboard’s source and destination status or analytics, then troubleshoot that leg rather than changing settings at random. Without the exact statuses and error message, the cause cannot be identified from “loading” alone.
1. Find where the signal stops
Livepush relays a signal from a source to a destination. Its dashboard analytics distinguish source-to-service and service-to-destination connections (Livepush overview). Use that split to narrow the problem:
- Source not reaching Livepush: check the input, encoder output, and source-to-Livepush connection.
- Source is present, but YouTube is unhealthy: check the YouTube route, account authorization, event, stream key, or destination transport.
Note the status shown for each leg and the time of the failure. That evidence is more useful than treating the loading indicator as a diagnosis.
2. Verify how the YouTube destination is configured
Livepush supports a linked YouTube account flow and a manual RTMP-key flow. Troubleshoot the route that is actually configured; the checks differ.

Linked YouTube account
In the Livepush destination settings, confirm that the intended YouTube channel and live event are selected, the destination is saved, and its on/off switch is enabled. The linked setup uses Google/YouTube sign-in, then lets you select a channel or create a live event, configure event details, save the destination, and turn it on (Livepush YouTube setup guide).
If a previously working linked destination stopped connecting, Livepush says a disconnected social account is a usual cause. Reconnect the account and save the destination again (Livepush account reconnection guide).

Manual RTMP stream key
Confirm that the YouTube live event exists and that the key copied from YouTube Live Control Room is the one entered in the Livepush YouTube destination. A manual setup is event-by-event; Livepush also notes that this flow does not expose YouTube comments in Livepush Multi Chat (Livepush YouTube setup guide).
3. Check the YouTube stream key and encoder
If YouTube reports a third-party encoder startup error, its official troubleshooting guidance is to get a new stream key in Live Control Room and update the encoder (YouTube: Fix streaming issues). Do not post or send a public copy of the key.

- Check that the encoder is using the intended key and event.
- Update the encoder if an update is available, then inspect its own preview, output status, and error messages.
- Check encoder CPU load and the quality of the video and audio sources routed into it.
- If the encoder appears to be sending a healthy stream, test outbound internet connectivity.
Livepush names OBS, Streamlabs OBS, XSplit, Wirecast, and vMix as examples of encoders; that list does not mean switching to a particular encoder will fix a loading symptom (Livepush overview).
4. Check RTMPS only for transport or SSL errors
Do not change transport settings just because the page says loading. If the error mentions SSL or a connection timeout and the route uses RTMPS, compare the URL and protocol with the details in YouTube Live Control Room. YouTube advises trying port 443 for SSL errors; if timeouts continue, check whether the encoder supports RTMPS (YouTube streaming troubleshooting; YouTube: Stream using RTMPS).

5. Confirm that YouTube live streaming is enabled
Check that live streaming is enabled for the YouTube channel. Livepush’s setup guide says activation for a new account can take up to 24 hours; that timing is a setup prerequisite, not a general explanation for every loading failure (Livepush YouTube setup guide).

- The time the problem occurred.
- Livepush’s source status and YouTube destination status.
- Whether the YouTube destination is linked or uses a manual key.
- The YouTube event state and any exact error text from Live Control Room or the encoder.
- Whether the source is visible in Livepush.
Never include the full stream key in a public post or support message unless the support channel explicitly provides a secure way to share credentials.
