LG introduced its 2026 OLED evo lineup at CES 2026, including the C6 and G6, but the phrase “both with upgraded Tandem panels” needs a size-specific qualification: LG’s US launch material identifies Hyper Radiant Color Technology on only the 77- and 83-inch C6 models, not across the full C6 range. LG also excludes the 97-inch G6 from that technology. LG Display separately announced the Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel technology behind its brightness and reflectance claims.
What LG announced at CES 2026
LG Electronics announced its 2026 OLED evo lineup on January 5, 2026, with the G6 positioned as a flagship OLED TV. LG’s announcement describes Hyper Radiant Color Technology, while LG Display separately detailed its Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel technology. The two announcements are related, but they do not establish that every C6 or G6 size uses the same panel configuration or features. LG Electronics’ CES 2026 announcement

What Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 changes
LG Display says its Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel stacks red, green and blue light in independent layers. An updated pixel structure and algorithms are intended to improve light efficiency. LG Display claims peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits and a reflectance rate of 0.3 percent for the announced panel. These are manufacturer panel-level figures, not independent measurements of finished C6 or G6 televisions, and “up to” does not mean that every size or viewing mode will reach the stated maximum. Which C6 and G6 sizes are listed in the US?
LG Electronics USA’s March 5, 2026 launch announcement lists these US sizes and starting launch MSRPs. Prices are historical launch figures, not current retail prices; model suffixes and availability can vary by region.

| Series | US sizes listed | US launch MSRP | Hyper Radiant qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| C6 | 42, 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches | From $1,399 | LG identifies the 77- and 83-inch C6 models |
| G6 | 55, 65, 77, 83 and 97 inches | From $2,499 | LG describes the feature for the series but excludes the 97-inch model |
The C6 is not uniform across sizes: the US lineup spans 42 to 83 inches, while LG’s stated C6 Hyper Radiant qualification applies only to 77 and 83 inches. LG likewise excludes the largest, 97-inch G6 from Hyper Radiant. Check the exact regional model number rather than assuming a series name guarantees a particular panel feature. Features and gaming specifications LG lists
LG lists Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for both series. The gaming specifications below are LG-listed features, not independent performance-test results.

| Series | LG-listed gaming features | Size exception or distinction |
|---|---|---|
| C6 | 4K at 165Hz, VRR and VESA ClearMR 10000 certification | LG’s US listing does not state a separate refresh-rate exception in the cited launch details |
| G6 | 4K at 165Hz with VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium | 97-inch G6 is listed with 120Hz VRR rather than 165Hz |
These specifications can help narrow a choice, but they do not establish how a retail unit performs in a particular game, picture mode or room. LG’s published panel brightness and reflectance figures should also not be read as independent measurements of each TV size.
How to compare the C6 and G6 before buying
- Start with room fit. The US C6 listing includes 42- and 48-inch options; the G6 listing starts at 55 inches and extends to 97 inches.
- Verify the exact size’s panel feature. LG’s US C6 Hyper Radiant qualification covers 77 and 83 inches, not the entire C6 range. The 97-inch G6 is excluded from the feature.
- Compare prices in your market. The March 2026 US MSRPs are launch context only. They do not establish today’s street price, retailer stock or pricing outside the US.
- Match gaming specs to your setup. In particular, account for the 97-inch G6’s 120Hz VRR listing when comparing it with other G6 sizes.
- Check local support and warranty terms. The cited launch details do not provide a complete warranty comparison by model and region, so use the terms attached to the specific TV sold where you live.
What the announcements do not establish
LG’s announcements are useful for the company’s stated line-up, features and specifications, but the cited material does not provide independent lab measurements of retail C6 or G6 units, current prices or inventory, or a complete model-by-model comparison of anti-reflection performance. Treat brightness and reflectance as LG Display’s panel claims, and confirm exact model details with LG or the seller before purchase.
