Level’s official product page listed the standard Level Lock at $249 in the reviewed listing; that is a listed price, not evidence of a discount or time-limited promotion. The lock is a retrofit smart deadbolt with its technology housed inside the door. Check your deadbolt measurements and smart-home setup before buying.
What does the Level Lock offer include?
The Level Lock is a smart deadbolt designed to keep its electronics inside the door hardware rather than add a prominent module over the interior thumb turn. Level says it supports Bluetooth and Matter over Thread, along with app and smart-home control. The exact controls available depend on the compatible platform and setup.
View the Level Lock smart lock on Level’s product page. The page describes accessories separately; do not assume a keypad or Wi-Fi bridge is included with the base lock. Level lists a CR2 lithium battery in the box.
Is $249 a discount?
No discount is established by the available official listings. Level’s product page showed $249 for Level Lock, while its catalog showed Level Lock Pro at $349 and Level Bolt at $199. These are listed prices, not a price guarantee, confirmed sale, or verified retailer price; check Level’s current listing before ordering.

The pages describe vendor claims rather than independent comparative testing. Level says the lock is “Certified AAA by BHMA”; that is the manufacturer’s stated certification and should not be taken by itself as an independent assessment of security against a particular attack.
Will Level Lock fit your door?
Level says the lock replaces most American-standard deadbolts, but measurements and deadbolt configuration matter. Its product page specifies:

Measure the existing door and deadbolt, then compare them with Level’s product specifications and compatibility guidance before purchase. “Most” does not mean every door or deadbolt will fit.

Do you need a hub, keypad, or Wi-Fi bridge?
Not necessarily. Level lists the Keypad and Level Connect as separately priced accessories. The keypad provides entry without a phone or key. Level Connect is a Wi-Fi bridge for additional connectivity. Some remote access or platform features require a compatible hub, so check the requirements for the smart-home system you use rather than assuming Bluetooth or Matter support automatically provides remote control.
Confirm accessory availability, current prices, battery requirements, and platform compatibility on Level’s product pages before ordering. The product page lists a CR2 lithium battery in the box; it does not establish real-world battery life.
