The 2026 Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 is available with Snapdragon X2 Plus as well as X2 Elite processors. The X2 Plus option gives the thin-and-light laptop a lower processor tier, but available evidence does not show that it matches the Elite model’s performance or battery life. Lenovo specifies the X2 Plus, while the independent review results discussed here come from an X2 Elite configuration.
Which Yoga Slim 7x includes Snapdragon X2 Plus?
Lenovo identifies the product as Yoga Slim 7x (14″, 11), model family 14Q8Y11. Its processor options include Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 and two X2 Elite chips. That makes “Yoga Slim 7x” a family name, not a guarantee of one processor or one complete configuration. Lenovo’s PSREF record is the source for the family’s processor specifications.
The X2 Plus is the six-core option. Lenovo lists the following processor specifications; these are official specifications, not independent benchmark results:
| Processor | Cores | Maximum frequency listed | Total cache | Graphics and NPU |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 | 6 | Up to 4.0GHz, single-core and multi-core | 22MB | Qualcomm Adreno graphics; Qualcomm Hexagon NPU up to 80 TOPS |
| Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-80-100 | 12 | Up to 4.7GHz single-core / 4.4GHz dual-core | 34MB | Lenovo’s cited PSREF summary does not state a comparable graphics or NPU figure |
| Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 | 18 | Up to 4.7GHz single-core / dual-core | 53MB | Lenovo’s cited PSREF summary does not state a comparable graphics or NPU figure |
Lenovo also categorizes the laptop as a Copilot+ PC. Qualcomm’s device finder associates the Yoga Slim 7x family with X Elite, X2 Elite, and X2 Plus. Its promotional text about 45 TOPS and Wi-Fi 7 refers to the original X Elite Yoga Slim 7x, so it should not be used in place of Lenovo’s 80-TOPS specification for this X2 Plus option. Qualcomm’s device finder gives family-level context.

What changes with the X2 Plus configuration?
The main change is the processor tier, but the configurations described in the independent review also differ in memory, storage, and screen. TechRadar lists a base configuration with X2 Plus X2P-42-100, 16GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 14-inch WUXGA OLED display at 1920 × 1200. Its higher configuration pairs X2 Elite X2E-80-100 with 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display. Those are review-time configuration and price snapshots, not assurances that every country sells the same combinations. TechRadar’s review describes the configurations and its tested machine.
Lenovo’s CES 2026 announcement describes the family as having an up-to-2.8K PureSight Pro OLED display, with peak HDR brightness up to 1100 nits. These are manufacturer claims and configuration-dependent options; they do not mean every X2 Plus SKU has the higher-resolution, 120Hz panel. Lenovo’s CES 2026 announcement provides the launch details.

What do the weight and battery claims mean?
Lenovo announced a starting weight of 1.17kg and a thickness of 13.9mm for the Yoga Slim 7x (14″, 11). It also advertised up to 29 hours of battery life on one charge. These are manufacturer statements; the announcement does not provide a test protocol for the runtime figure, so it should not be treated as an independently measured result for either processor configuration.
TechRadar reports a 23-hour-30-minute continuous movie-playback result, but its review unit used X2 Elite, not X2 Plus. Its configuration table lists a 1.2kg weight and a 70Wh battery for that reviewed machine. The review describes several days of varied productivity, browsing, streaming, and gaming, along with benchmarks and continuous movie playback. The movie-loop result is useful context for the tested Elite configuration, not evidence of X2 Plus runtime.

Does the X2 Plus perform as well as X2 Elite?
The available independent test does not answer that question. TechRadar’s benchmarks and battery result belong to its X2 Elite X2E-80-100 review unit. No direct independent X2 Plus performance or battery measurements are established here, so a performance ranking between the two processors would go beyond the evidence.
Lenovo’s core counts, frequencies, cache sizes, and NPU rating describe hardware specifications. They do not predict how a particular application will perform or how long a specific configuration will last on battery. Workload, memory, display, and configuration all matter; Windows on Arm compatibility is also workload- and application-specific, and no compatibility findings for particular apps are established here.

What should you check before choosing a configuration?
Compare the exact local SKU rather than relying on the family name or a headline processor label. A useful checklist is:
- Processor: Confirm X2P-42-100 for the X2 Plus model, or the exact X2 Elite SKU.
- Memory and storage: Check installed RAM and SSD capacity; the reviewed base and higher configurations differ on both.
- Display: Verify resolution and refresh rate. The WUXGA and 2.8K 120Hz panels are not interchangeable descriptions.
- Weight: Treat Lenovo’s 1.17kg figure as a starting claim and check the exact configuration’s listing.
- Testing: Look for independent tests of the same processor and preferably the same complete configuration. Do not apply the Elite review’s results to X2 Plus.
- Battery method: Compare like with like—continuous video playback is not the same as mixed work or your own workload.
- Ports: Confirm the connectors suit your peripherals.
- Local price and availability: Check the country-specific listing and exact SKU; launch estimates and review prices are not current universal prices.
Are the ports enough for your setup?
TechRadar’s reviewed configuration has three USB-C ports identified as USB4 at 40Gbps, alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The review notes that the laptop has only USB-C ports. If your setup needs HDMI, USB-A, a card reader, or several connected peripherals, you may need an adapter or USB-C hub; no particular accessory is tested here. Confirm that the port list applies to the exact regional configuration you are considering.

What did Lenovo say about price and availability?
At CES 2026, Lenovo announced an estimated starting price of US$949.99 and expected Q2 2026 availability. Those figures were launch-time guidance, not a guarantee of current price, stock, or a specific X2 Plus configuration in any country. TechRadar later cited a US starting price of $999.99 for the base configuration it encountered; that is a review-time market snapshot, not durable pricing guidance. Check Lenovo or an authorized local retailer for the current listing and match the processor and other specifications before buying.
