Reported for release on January 1, 2027, they range from $29.99 to $169.99 in announced U.S. pricing. Choose by whether you want wall art, a character-driven vehicle build, or a smaller game-inspired car.
LEGO Batman 2027 sets at a glance
The “cute, cool, or terrifying” framing is an editorial shorthand, not an official LEGO rating. The actual distinction is format and theme: one wall display and two vehicle builds.
| Set | Announced U.S. price | Pieces | Reported age guidance | What you build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LEGO DC Joker Wall Art Comic Cover | $169.99 | 1,849 | 18+ | Layered wall display inspired by the cover of Detective Comics #880 |
| LEGO DC Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck | $59.99 | 672 | 9+ | Batman Returns Batmobile, a duck vehicle, and a Penguin minifigure |
| LEGO DC Arkham Batman Batmobile | $29.99 | 317 | 9+ | An Arkham-themed Batmobile |
The two vehicle listings on LEGO’s U.S. DC catalog show the sets as “Coming Soon” and display their prices and piece counts. The Joker set’s price, piece count, and age guidance, along with all three sets’ reported release details, come from Gizmodo’s October 5, 2026 report. Prices are announced U.S. prices, not a promise of future availability or a current stock guarantee.
Which set fits what you want?
For a dramatic wall display: Joker Wall Art Comic Cover
At 1,849 pieces and $169.99 announced U.S. pricing, the Joker set is the largest and most expensive of the three by the reported figures. It is designed as layered wall art based on Detective Comics #880 rather than a vehicle build. Gizmodo’s account of the release describes eyes and other features projecting from the surface, with further details in deeper layers. Its reported age guidance is 18+.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For an unusual character-and-vehicle pairing: Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck
This $59.99 set combines the Batman Returns Batmobile with a duck vehicle and a Penguin minifigure. That combination makes it the playful choice of the three, although “cute” is an interpretation of the pairing rather than LEGO’s official label. It has 672 pieces and reported age guidance of 9+. LEGO’s U.S. catalog lists it as “Coming Soon.”
For the lowest-cost compact car build: Arkham Batman Batmobile
The Arkham-themed Batmobile is the smallest and least expensive option in the announced lineup: 317 pieces at a displayed U.S. catalog price of $29.99. It is the natural pick if the game-inspired look matters more than a wall display or the Penguin-and-duck novelty. The reported age guidance is 9+, and LEGO’s U.S. catalog lists it as “Coming Soon.”

It also reported that preorders were open for the Joker wall-art set at the time of publication. The LEGO U.S. catalog’s “Coming Soon” labels for the two vehicle sets establish their listings, not a guaranteed release date or continued stock. Check the relevant product listing for current availability and final details.
The report also described a New York Comic Con-only offer: an on-site preorder would include a reprint of Detective Comics #880 with LEGO-inspired cover art, with cover artist Jock signing at the DC booth on Thursday, October 8, starting at 11 a.m. This was an event-specific offer, not a standard preorder bonus; the reported event date has passed.
