You can still pair LDAC headphones for ordinary Bluetooth audio, but pairing does not make Windows transmit audio using LDAC. A third-party driver is discussed as a possible workaround, but its current compatibility is not established by the sources reviewed.
Does Windows 11 support LDAC?
Windows 11 does not provide a native LDAC toggle in its Bluetooth controls. Sony’s support article says Windows does not support LDAC at the system level. LDAC requires support from the transmitting playback device as well as the headphones or speaker receiving the audio.
Windows Bluetooth settings let you turn Bluetooth on and pair devices; they do not provide an LDAC setting. Changing the Bluetooth controller does not remove Windows’ system-level limitation.
How to pair LDAC headphones in Windows 11
You can pair your headphones normally, but this only establishes a Bluetooth connection. It does not enable LDAC transmission from Windows.

Could a Bluetooth adapter add LDAC?
A generic USB Bluetooth adapter is not an established way to add LDAC support to Windows 11. Microsoft describes a USB Bluetooth adapter as a way to add Bluetooth connectivity to a Windows device that lacks it. Sony says the Bluetooth controller model does not change Windows’ system-level LDAC limitation.

Sony headphones: Sound Quality setting
Sony advises users of supported headphones to select Priority on Sound Quality in the Sound Connect app when using LDAC playback. This is a device-side connection-quality preference; it does not enable LDAC transmission in Windows.
