PvP duels, PvE farming, boss fights, crowd clearing, your build, and your execution can all change which innate is the right one to keep. Use the rankings below as attributed guide opinions—not a definitive in-game verdict—and weigh them against how you play.
How to read this Jujutsu Infinite tier list
The lists covered here are published rankings, not official game rankings. Their tier scales also differ: Pocket Gamer uses S+, S, A, B, and C; Driffle adds D; Claude Gaming uses S, A, B, C, and D. A letter in one guide is not directly equivalent to the same letter in another.
The guides do agree on a cluster of strong options, but placements outside that cluster diverge. The table compares only techniques whose placements are available across the cited guides; Pocket Gamer’s visible tiers omit some techniques listed elsewhere, so this is not a complete inventory of every innate.

Infinity, Gambler Fever, Soul King, Star Rage, and Demon Vessel appear in the top tier of all three lists, though Claude Gaming’s scale has no S+ tier. Thunder God is also consistently placed highly. Volcano is a clear example of why the rest of the list is less settled: Pocket Gamer ranks it S, Driffle A, and Claude Gaming B.

What is the best innate in Jujutsu Infinite?
Driffle names Infinity its best all-round pick, citing its defensive utility and domain. Pocket Gamer also places Infinity at the top of its list. That makes Infinity a reasonable first choice if you want a strong general-purpose technique, but it is an editorial consensus among these guides—not an official ranking or a guarantee that it suits every build.
Your second equipped innate can affect the decision. Driffle says players have two innate slots by default and that gamepasses unlock additional slots; it recommends pairing a main technique with one that covers a weakness, giving Cryokinesis for freezes and Ratio for burst as examples. The guide also says performance depends on mastery, stat build, and weapon, so a highly ranked innate is not automatically the best fit for every player.

What is the best innate for PvP in Jujutsu Infinite?
For duels, prioritize the tools that help you pressure or control another player, rather than assuming a PvE ranking carries over. Driffle highlights Soul Manipulation as a strong 1v1 duelist and Thunder God’s speed and pressure as PvP strengths. These are that guide’s assessments, not independently established matchup results.
Gambler Fever illustrates the mode trade-off: Claude Gaming says it can excel at boss farming yet lose duels. If your main goal is PvP, consider how reliably you can land a technique’s attacks and create openings with your build; do not keep a pick solely because a guide ranks it highly for farming.

What is the best innate for PvE in Jujutsu Infinite?
For PvE, the cited guides favor techniques that help with sustained damage, boss encounters, or clearing groups:
- Gambler Fever and Star Rage: Driffle recommends both for PvE.
- Volcano: Driffle describes it as an effective mob clearer, though the guides disagree sharply on its overall tier.
- Judgeman: Driffle says it became stronger for PvE after a rework and ranks it A; Claude Gaming also ranks it A.
- Gambler Fever for bosses: Claude Gaming specifically identifies it as a strong boss-farming choice, while warning that its dueling performance can be weaker.
These recommendations are guide judgments, not a controlled comparison of clear times or damage. Choose according to the activity you repeat most: a crowd-clearing advantage may matter more for groups of enemies, while a boss-focused kit may be more useful for farming a single target.

What is the rarest innate in Jujutsu Infinite?
Driffle’s October 2026 guide reports that the game has 25 innate techniques and that all nine Special Grades share a 0.25% chance to be rolled from the Special Grade pool. The 0.25% figure is a secondary-source claim about the pool, not an independently verified current game rate; it is not the chance for any one specific Special Grade. The guide also reports a 1.4% roll chance for Ratio Technique. Rates and mechanics can change, so treat these as reported figures rather than guaranteed current odds.

Rerolling is a trade-off between pursuing a stronger fit and giving up a technique you can already use. The guides do not establish one universal reroll cutoff, so make the decision around your progress and preferred mode:

- Keep a high-ranked technique you enjoy using: Infinity, Gambler Fever, Soul King, Thunder God, Star Rage, and Demon Vessel are consistently ranked highly across the three lists.
- Judge by your main activity: a PvE-focused pick may not translate to duels, and vice versa. A lower overall placement can still be useful for a specific role, such as Volcano for mob clearing in Driffle’s assessment.
- Account for scarcity: Driffle reports a 0.25% shared roll chance for the nine Special Grades and a 1.4% chance for Ratio. Those reported rates make rerolling away from a rare option a consequential choice, but check the current mechanic before relying on them.
- Consider the rest of your setup: Driffle says mastery, stats, weapon, and the second innate matter to performance. A complementary technique may serve your build better than repeatedly spinning for one top-tier name.
Driffle says spins can be purchased with Robux. That is an optional route to more spins, not a reason to spend: the guide rankings cannot guarantee that a new roll will better suit your play style.
Why Jujutsu Infinite tier lists disagree
The guides rank techniques for different mixes of overall usefulness and mode-specific performance, and they do not use a shared scoring method. Their split on Volcano—from S at Pocket Gamer to B at Claude Gaming—shows why a single letter grade can hide trade-offs. A technique may clear groups well without being as effective in duels, or offer strong defensive utility without being the fastest farming choice.
No official developer tier list appears in the sources behind these rankings. Pocket Gamer’s list was updated September 16, 2026; Driffle’s October 1, 2026; and Claude Gaming’s page, titled for September 2026, was last checked August 3, 2026. Game changes after those dates may affect the results.
