Jericho Security announced a $15 million Series A in April 2025 to expand its AI-powered employee cybersecurity training business. SecurityWeek reported the round was led by Era Fund and brought the company’s total funding to $20 million. The product is business software for simulating phishing and other social-engineering attacks—not evidence that the company has prevented breaches.
What Jericho Security raised and who invested
SecurityWeek reported on April 24, 2025, that Jericho’s $15 million Series A brought its total funding to $20 million. Era Fund led the round. SecurityWeek also listed Dash, Distique, Fog, Gaingels Enterprise and Gaingels AI, HENRY, Lux Capital, Metalab, Plug & Play, and Textbook as participants (SecurityWeek’s report).
Jericho’s May 7, 2025, announcement also named Jasper Lau of Era Fund as the lead, but its participant list differs: it included Lux Capital, Dash, Gaingels Enterprise and Gaingels AI, Distique, Plug & Play, Henry, Metalab, Fog, KBTG, and Textbook. Because the two published lists are not identical, they should be read as separately attributed accounts rather than combined into one definitive list (Jericho’s announcement).
What Jericho’s training platform does
SecurityWeek described the New York-based company, founded in 2023, as offering AI-powered employee cybersecurity training focused on phishing and AI-enabled deepfakes. Its platform creates personalized attack simulations and tracks employee progress. Jericho’s own description adds customized training and a dashboard for scheduling simulations, delivering lessons, and monitoring performance. These are product descriptions from the company and reporting; they are not independent efficacy findings.

Simulated attacks and training channels
In its May 2025 release, Jericho described simulations involving conversational phishing emails, real-time SMS scams, and dialogue-based attacks, with email, voice, and SMS listed among the trial features. The intent is to expose employees to social-engineering scenarios and pair the simulations with training and performance tracking.
Plans and trial offer announced in 2025
Jericho’s May 7, 2025, release described three subscription tiers—Jericho Lite, Jericho Plus, and Jericho Premium—and a seven-day Premium trial. That is a dated offer, not confirmation that the same plans or trial remain available today.

How Jericho said it would use the funding
The company said proceeds would support hiring cybersecurity talent, expanding research and development, and scaling go-to-market efforts. The funding announcement describes the company’s growth plans; the amount raised does not itself establish that the product is effective or reduces security incidents.
Developments after the Series A
Jericho’s later announcements describe additional public-sector availability and authorization. These developments followed the April 2025 financing and should not be confused with terms or results of the funding round.

On February 3, 2026, Jericho announced a partnership with Carahsoft, describing it as the company’s Master Government Aggregator. Jericho said its solutions were available through NASA SEWP V, GSA Schedule 70, ITES-SW2, and various state, local, and education contracts. Those partnership and availability details are claims made by Jericho (company announcement).
Department of War authorization
In a January 2026 announcement, Jericho said it had achieved Department of War Impact Level 5 authorization through Second Front Systems. This authorization claim is also attributed to the company (company announcement).

What the announcements do—and do not—show
The available reporting and company releases establish the announced financing, the product’s described features, and Jericho’s stated expansion plans. They do not establish an independently verified improvement in employee behavior, a reduction in breaches, or superiority over competing training products. Jericho also said in its May 2025 release that it received four Global InfoSec Awards at RSA Conference 2025; that is an award claim, not an efficacy measure.
