Jazz New 3G/4G Device Packages for December 2024 were device-only MBB/Data SIM bundles offering 30 GB, 60 GB, 110 GB, 180 GB, 65 GB for three months, or 100 GB for six months. The figures are historical, not guaranteed August 2026 prices; current Jazz pages show different recharge amounts and confirm that 3G service was discontinued in 2024.

These packages were designed for Jazz Super 4G devices, MiFi/mobile Wi-Fi routers, Wingles, dongles, and other broadband devices rather than ordinary smartphone SIM use. The most important practical distinction is between the advertised bundle price and the higher recharge amount Jazz may require at subscription.

Important date note: This article records the package schedule reported for December 2024 and compares it with Jazz’s currently indexed device page, researched in August 2026. Jazz can change prices, taxes, codes, eligibility, regional availability, and device stock.

Key takeaways

  • The December 2024 historical list included 30 GB, 60 GB, 110 GB, 180 GB, 65 GB for three months, and 100 GB for six months.
  • Jazz device bundles are intended for MBB SIMs and Data SIMs, not necessarily ordinary voice SIMs used in smartphones.
  • The historical article reported bundle prices from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 12,174, but Jazz’s currently indexed page shows required recharge amounts of Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 14,000 for corresponding plans.
  • The 60 GB Regular plan suits moderate shared use, while the 110 GB Mega and 180 GB Heavy plans are better for larger households, small offices, streaming, and downloads.
  • “Up to 150 Mbps” is an advertised device limit, not a guaranteed speed, and a stronger Wi-Fi router cannot solve weak Jazz cellular coverage.
  • Jazz’s current Urdu device page says 3G services were discontinued in 2024, so “3G/4G” should be understood as historical wording rather than a promise of 3G availability.

What were the Jazz New 3G/4G Device Packages for December 2024?

The Jazz New 3G/4G Device Packages for December 2024 were reported as device-only internet bundles for Jazz MBB and Data SIM users. The original December 2024 coverage listed four monthly options and two longer-validity options. The table below preserves those reported figures without presenting them as a current Jazz tariff.

Monthly Internet Mega — Device Only 110,000 MB, approximately 110 GB 30 days Rs. 2,261 A closely corresponding 110 GB Mega plan is visible on the current Jazz page.
Monthly Internet Heavy — Device Only 180,000 MB, approximately 180 GB 30 days Rs. 2,609 A closely corresponding 180 GB Heavy plan is visible on the current Jazz page.
Three-Month Bundle — Device Only 65,000 MB, approximately 65 GB Three months Rs. 5,626 A closely corresponding 65 GB, three-month option is visible on the current Jazz page.
Six-Month Bundle — Device Only 100,000 MB, approximately 100 GB Six months Rs. 12,174 A closely corresponding 100 GB, six-month option is visible on the current Jazz page.

The historical prices and package names come from the December 2024 package report. The report supports the claim that these offers were published for December 2024; it does not by itself prove that Jazz formally launched every package as a newly introduced offer.

What is the difference between the bundle price and the required recharge?

The bundle price is not necessarily the amount that must be available in the account for activation. Jazz’s currently indexed device page displays a lower bundle price alongside a higher required recharge amount, so customers should budget for the recharge figure rather than relying only on the historical price column.

Corresponding current plan Approximate bundle price shown Required recharge shown Validity
60 GB Regular Rs. 2,173.91 Rs. 2,500 30 days
110 GB Mega Rs. 2,260.87 Rs. 2,600 30 days
180 GB Heavy Rs. 2,608.69 Rs. 3,000 30 days
65 GB three-month plan Rs. 5,625.17 Rs. 6,500 Three months
100 GB six-month plan Rs. 12,173.91 Rs. 14,000 Six months

These are figures from Jazz’s currently indexed device page, not confirmed December 2024 prices. The difference can reflect the operator’s tax and tariff presentation. Before subscribing, check the exact recharge requirement in Jazz’s current device menu, official website, app, franchise, or customer-support channel.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A customer who adds only Rs. 2,174 for the historical 60 GB Regular price may not have enough balance if the current subscription requires Rs. 2,500. The recharge amount is therefore the figure that matters when calculating the money needed for activation.

Are Jazz device packages different from normal phone internet bundles?

Yes. Jazz device packages are intended for MBB SIMs and Data SIMs installed in broadband hardware. Jazz’s official device page specifically identifies MBB SIM and Data SIM eligibility, so a normal voice-and-data SIM should not be assumed to qualify for every device-only offer.

The intended equipment includes:

  • Jazz Super 4G MBB devices.
  • Battery-powered MiFi or mobile Wi-Fi routers.
  • USB-style 4G dongles or Wingles.
  • Data SIMs used in compatible broadband devices.

A smartphone user who only needs occasional browsing, social apps, or one-person hotspot access may find a normal mobile-data bundle simpler. A dedicated MBB device becomes more useful when several phones, laptops, tablets, televisions, or other devices need to share one cellular connection.

Which Jazz device packages were visible on the current official page?

Jazz’s currently indexed device page contains the core monthly and multi-month plans associated with the December 2024 list, along with additional short-term and location-based offers. The current page should be treated as an August 2026 research snapshot, not as a permanent tariff.

Six-month plan 100 GB for six months Rs. 14,000 required recharge shown Confirm how the total allowance is applied before buying.
Location-based offers Different data amounts and validity may apply Prices and codes vary North, South, and Karachi offers should not be treated as nationwide plans.

The official Jazz 4G-device page also lists device management, package terms, and regional offers. Because the research does not provide every regional offer’s exact allowance and code, regional plans should be verified by location rather than copied into a nationwide comparison.

Do the monthly plans include only all-day data?

Not necessarily. Jazz’s current device-page terms describe the 60 GB Regular plan as 60 GB usable around the clock plus 30 GB usable from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the visible offer presentation may show the plan differently. This inconsistency should be checked in the live terms before purchase.

The distinction matters for customers choosing between Regular and Mega. A customer who can schedule downloads or updates during the specified night-use period may get more practical value from Regular. A customer who needs a straightforward allowance throughout the day should compare the current terms rather than relying only on the headline data figure.

How much do Jazz MBB devices cost?

Jazz’s currently indexed device listings show two hardware categories priced at approximately Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 12,000. Hardware cost is separate from the MBB/Data SIM cost and separate from the data bundle recharge.

Device category Indexed price Product details reported Best fit
Jazz 4G MiFi or mobile Wi-Fi device Approximately Rs. 7,000 Advertised speeds up to 150 Mbps, 2,300 mAh battery, WPS Wi-Fi, plug-and-play operation, Micro SD support up to 32 GB, app management, warranty, and quick guide. Portable hotspot use across several phones, laptops, or tablets.
Jazz long-range Wi-Fi device Approximately Rs. 12,000 Long-range Wi-Fi, administration app, advertised speeds up to 150 Mbps, and warranty. Users who need broader indoor Wi-Fi coverage than a compact portable hotspot may provide.

The Jazz device page does not provide model names in the supplied research, so specific model names should not be assumed. The December 2024 report also described compatible devices as connecting up to 12 devices simultaneously. That is a product-description capacity, not a guarantee that 12 active users will receive stable high-speed service at the same time.

“Up to 150 Mbps” describes an advertised maximum under suitable conditions. Actual performance depends on Jazz coverage, cell-site capacity, time of day, device capability, distance from the cell site, web services, and the number of simultaneous users. Jazz’s Super 4G information page explains that advertised network and device speeds should not be treated as guaranteed real-world throughput.

How do you subscribe to a Jazz device-only package?

Use the following process for a core MBB package, but confirm the live code and recharge requirement before completing the subscription.

  1. Get an eligible SIM. Use a Jazz MBB SIM or Data SIM rather than assuming that a standard voice SIM qualifies.
  2. Complete required verification. Biometric verification may be required when purchasing or activating a SIM or device.
  3. Check compatibility and coverage. A compatible device still needs usable Jazz cellular coverage at the location where the device will operate.
  4. Recharge the required amount. Use the current required recharge amount, not automatically the lower historical bundle price.
  5. Insert the SIM into the device. Power on the MiFi, router, or Wingle and wait for the device to register on the network.
  6. Dial the relevant subscription code. The core codes listed by Jazz’s device page are shown below.
  7. Wait for confirmation. Do not begin heavy downloading until the activation message or account status confirms that the package is active.
  8. Monitor usage and validity. Use *6363# or the device-management interface to check status and usage.
Package Subscription code Use
Regular 60 GB *117*73# Subscribe to the core 60 GB device plan.
Mega 110 GB *117*36# Subscribe to the core 110 GB device plan.
Heavy 180 GB *117*74# Subscribe to the core 180 GB device plan.
Three-month 65 GB *117*15# Subscribe to the three-month device plan.
Six-month 100 GB *117*16# Subscribe to the six-month device plan.

Jazz also lists status and unsubscribe codes for these packages. The supplied research does not reproduce every status and unsubscribe code, so the safest approach is to use the current Jazz device menu or official page rather than relying on an old code list. USSD codes can change with tariff revisions.

How can you manage a Jazz MBB device?

Jazz says MBB customers can use *6363# for device management. The official page also identifies device-management addresses including http://jazz.wifi/ for older devices and 192.168.0.1 for newer devices, depending on the device model.

Connect a phone or computer to the device’s Wi-Fi network, open the applicable management address in a browser, and use the device interface to review connected users, Wi-Fi settings, and available management options. The exact login screen and features vary by hardware, so the supplied quick guide should take priority over a generic router tutorial.

Which Jazz package should you choose?

The right package depends on the number of connected users, video and download habits, coverage, and whether the Jazz device is a primary connection or a backup connection.

Use case Most suitable starting point Why What to verify
One person with moderate browsing 60 GB Regular Lower monthly commitment than Mega or Heavy and potentially useful night-period data. Whether the night quota fits the user’s schedule.
Several people sharing a hotspot 110 GB Mega More data for multiple phones, laptops, online classes, video, and hotspot use. Coverage and whether the allowance is sufficient for simultaneous use.
Family or small office with heavy use 180 GB Heavy Largest monthly allowance in the reported core lineup. Whether a fixed-line connection would provide better value or reliability.
Occasional backup internet Current short-term offer, where eligible An eight-GB three-day or 25-GB seven-day option may avoid paying for a full month. Current eligibility, recharge amount, and expiry time.
Predictable seasonal or project use Three-month or six-month plan Reduces the need for monthly re-subscription. Whether the listed data is a total allowance or recurring monthly allocation.
Customer in North, South, or Karachi region Applicable location-based offer Jazz lists regional alternatives with different amounts, prices, and codes. Exact city or region eligibility; regional offers are not automatically nationwide.

Should you choose Regular, Mega, or Heavy?

Choose 60 GB Regular when usage is moderate and some data can be consumed during the plan’s designated night period. Regular is a reasonable starting point for a small household or individual who needs a dedicated router but does not stream or download heavily.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Choose 110 GB Mega when several people share the connection or the device supports frequent video, online classes, downloads, and hotspot use. Mega is the better middle option when 60 GB may be restrictive but 180 GB would be excessive.

Choose 180 GB Heavy when the device serves a family, small office, or demanding streaming and download workload. The plan has a fixed allowance; it is not unlimited internet.

Choose a three-month or six-month bundle when usage is predictable and avoiding monthly re-subscription is valuable. Do not assume that 65 GB for three months means 65 GB every month, or that 100 GB for six months means 100 GB every month, unless Jazz’s current terms explicitly say so.

Does Jazz still provide 3G service on these devices?

Jazz’s current Urdu device page says that Jazz 3G services were discontinued in 2024. Consequently, the December 2024 “3G/4G” wording should not be read as a guarantee that a device will connect to 3G today.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Actual service depends on the available technology and coverage at the customer’s location. A device described with legacy 3G/4G terminology may continue to be sold or referenced in older material, but customers shopping now should prioritise 4G compatibility and verify coverage before paying for hardware.

For wider network context, VEON’s FY2024 filing reported 71.5 million Jazz customers in Pakistan as of December 31, 2024, 70.7% identified as 4G users, 4G/LTE service in 336 cities, and 68.9% 4G coverage at that date. Those figures describe network context, not guaranteed package availability or speed at an individual address.

What requirements must be met before activation?

A Jazz device package generally requires an eligible MBB/Data SIM, a compatible device, sufficient recharge balance, and network coverage. Biometric verification may be required for SIM or device purchase and activation.

  • Eligible SIM: Jazz identifies MBB SIM and Data SIM as the supported SIM categories for device bundles.
  • Compatible hardware: The device must support the available Jazz network technology and SIM format.
  • Coverage: A package cannot compensate for poor or absent Jazz cellular coverage.
  • Verification: Complete biometric requirements through an authorised Jazz channel where requested.
  • Notifications: Jazz’s MBB FAQ refers to an “Other Contact Number” for usage notifications.

Jazz’s general Super 4G FAQ lists 4G coverage, a 4G SIM, a compatible handset, and activated 4G service for handset-based Super 4G. That information is useful network context, but handset codes should not be confused with MBB package codes. Jazz lists *443*7# for SIM-status checking, *443*8# for handset compatibility, and *583# for free Super 4G activation; these are primarily handset-related codes.

What are the main limitations and failure points?

“Up to 150 Mbps” is not a normal-speed promise

The MiFi and long-range device descriptions advertise speeds of up to 150 Mbps. Actual speed can vary with signal strength, cell-site congestion, time of day, device capability, distance from the cell site, web service, and the number of connected users.

A larger Wi-Fi range cannot create cellular coverage

The Rs. 12,000 long-range Wi-Fi device may spread the local Wi-Fi signal farther than a compact hotspot, but a stronger Wi-Fi radio cannot create Jazz cellular coverage where the incoming mobile signal is weak or unavailable. Test Jazz 4G at the intended installation point before choosing hardware.

Out-of-bundle data may cost more

Jazz warns that base-rate charging can apply when no bundle is active and lists separate base or overage information on its general Super 4G page. Because the applicable rate may depend on the product, confirm the MBB tariff before allowing automatic out-of-bundle usage.

Device bundles are one-off subscriptions

Jazz’s official device terms state that the bundles are one-off and do not auto-renew. Mark the expiry date and manually resubscribe if continued service is required.

The Basic plan requires verification

The 30 GB Basic plan at Rs. 1,500 appears in the December 2024 report, but the plan is not visible in the principal current indexed Jazz device tariff. Treat Basic as a historical reported offer and verify it directly before describing it as active.

Long-validity data may not mean recurring monthly data

The historical material does not establish whether 65 GB for three months or 100 GB for six months is a total allowance or a recurring allowance for each month. Read the current Jazz terms before choosing a long-validity package.

What should you check before buying or activating?

  1. Confirm that the SIM is an MBB SIM or Data SIM.
  2. Check Jazz 4G coverage at the exact home, office, or travel location.
  3. Confirm the device price separately from the data-plan price.
  4. Confirm the required recharge amount, including the operator’s current tax and tariff presentation.
  5. Check whether the data allowance is all-day, night-period, divided into quotas, or subject to another restriction.
  6. Confirm whether a multi-month allowance is total or recurring.
  7. Verify the USSD subscription code in the current Jazz menu.
  8. Check the activation confirmation before starting high-volume use.
  9. Record the package expiry date because the bundle does not automatically renew.
  10. Check the applicable out-of-bundle rate before the data allowance reaches zero.
  11. For regional offers, confirm eligibility for North, South, Karachi, or the relevant location.

December 2024 package facts versus August 2026 status

Question Historical December 2024 position Current-status qualification
Were the packages reported? Yes; a December 2024 article listed six device-only options. The report does not independently prove a formal “new launch” announcement by Jazz.
Are the core data amounts still visible? 30 GB, 60 GB, 110 GB, 180 GB, 65 GB, and 100 GB were reported. The currently indexed Jazz page shows corresponding 60 GB, 110 GB, 180 GB, 65 GB, and 100 GB options; Basic needs verification.
Are the prices identical? Reported bundle prices ranged from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 12,174. Current page figures include higher required recharge amounts, such as Rs. 2,500 for 60 GB and Rs. 14,000 for six months.
Does “3G/4G” guarantee both networks? The historical title used 3G/4G wording. Jazz’s current Urdu page says 3G was discontinued in 2024.
Are these the complete device offers? The historical table focused on six packages. The current page also lists short-term and location-based offers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a normal Jazz voice SIM for a device-only package?

Jazz device-only bundles are identified for MBB SIMs and Data SIMs, so a normal voice SIM should not be assumed to qualify. Confirm SIM eligibility with Jazz before attempting activation.

Is the Jazz 180 GB Heavy package unlimited?

No. The Jazz 180 GB Heavy package has a fixed 180 GB allowance for its stated validity; it is not unlimited internet. Out-of-bundle charging may apply after the allowance ends, depending on the applicable tariff.

Free tools Windows power users keep installed

Does the 65 GB three-month package provide 65 GB every month?

The supplied December 2024 material does not establish that the 65 GB allowance repeats every month. Confirm the current Jazz terms to determine whether the allowance is total for three months or recurring.

Why is the Jazz recharge amount higher than the bundle price?

Jazz’s current device page displays a lower bundle price and a higher required recharge amount. The difference can reflect the operator’s current tax and tariff presentation, so customers should budget for the displayed recharge amount.

Will a Jazz device advertised at 150 Mbps actually deliver 150 Mbps?

No speed is guaranteed by the “up to 150 Mbps” description. Actual speed depends on Jazz coverage, congestion, time of day, device capability, distance from the cell site, and the number of connected users.

The Bottom Line

The December 2024 Jazz device-only lineup consisted of six reported MBB/Data SIM packages, led by 60 GB Regular, 110 GB Mega, and 180 GB Heavy monthly options. For a current purchase, do not rely on the historical price alone: verify the required recharge, live USSD code, coverage, SIM eligibility, data-quota rules, and device availability on Jazz’s official channels.
