Whether it is a good buy depends on the price of the exact pack you choose—and whether you need 6 GHz Wi-Fi, which this model does not have. The cited $149.99 price could not be verified; check the current Amazon listing for pack size, seller, stock, and price before buying.
What does the Deco BE25 cost?
The $149.99 starting price in the original deal claim is not substantiated by the available price reporting. TechRadar reported the Deco BE25 at $208.73, down from $299.99, on September 21, 2026, and previously reported $179.99, down from $249.99, on July 8, 2026. These are historical deal snapshots, not current quotes, and the reporting does not establish that either figure applies to the same pack size as the listing you are considering. Check the Amazon page at purchase time and confirm that it is for the three-pack if that is the configuration you want.
TP-Link Deco 7 BE25 product page
How much area does the three-pack cover?
TP-Link rates the three-pack for up to 6,600 square feet and one unit for up to 2,600 square feet. These are manufacturer maximum coverage figures, not guarantees for a particular home. Floor plan, wall materials, node placement, interference, and connected devices can all affect the area and performance you actually get. A three-node system can help spread coverage across a larger home, but it cannot promise to eliminate every dead zone.
What Wi-Fi does the BE25 provide?
The BE25 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 system, using 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz; it does not include a 6 GHz band. TP-Link lists theoretical rates of 4,324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Those are advertised wireless link rates, not expected internet speeds in a specific home. Your broadband service, device capabilities, distance, and conditions affect real-world results.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Wi-Fi 7 features also depend on client support. TP-Link notes that devices need to support the corresponding features to use capabilities such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and other Wi-Fi 7 enhancements. A Wi-Fi 7 router does not give an older phone, laptop, or smart-home device every Wi-Fi 7 benefit.
Can you connect the Deco units by Ethernet?
Yes. TP-Link supports Ethernet backhaul, so you can connect compatible Deco units by cable when your home has suitable wiring. Wired backhaul is optional; the system can also form a mesh wirelessly. Each unit has two 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports according to TP-Link’s 2024 datasheet. The ports can serve as WAN or LAN, but using multi-gig internet requires compatible service and equipment as well as suitable cabling. Check the hardware revision and regional product listing before relying on the port specification.

What are the trade-offs?
No 6 GHz band
The clearest compromise is the lack of 6 GHz. If you specifically want tri-band operation or 6 GHz connectivity, compare a higher-tier system that includes that band. If your priority is a multi-node mesh and you do not require 6 GHz, the BE25 may be a more relevant option, subject to its verified price.
Everyday performance versus latency-sensitive use
RTINGS describes strong everyday performance for tasks such as large downloads and concurrent 4K streaming, with latency it considers adequate for browsing, video calls, and casual gaming. It identifies competitive gaming over Wi-Fi as a weaker fit and recommends a direct Ethernet connection to the main router for the lowest, most stable latency. RTINGS tested a two-pack, so its results should not be treated as measurements of a three-pack. Its review page records updates through June 22, 2026.
