Tom’s Guide reported that Amazon had the 55-inch Roku Pro Series OLED TV for $699 on October 6, 2026, a stated $300 reduction from $999. That is a dated deal report, not confirmation of today’s checkout price: check the Amazon listing for the current price, seller, stock, delivery, and Prime eligibility before buying.
What the $699 Prime Day report says
Tom’s Guide’s October 6, 2026 deal report identified Amazon as the retailer and described the 55-inch Roku Pro Series 4K OLED as $699, down $300 from a stated $999 price. The same report compared it with a 48-inch LG B6 at a cited $699. The prices are report-time figures; verify both listings at checkout before treating them as available offers.
Roku’s official product page lists the 55-inch model at a regular price of $999.99. That manufacturer listing is separate from the reported Amazon promotion, and it does not establish whether the temporary discount remains active.
Which Roku model is in the deal?
The deal concerns the standard 55-inch Pro Series OLED, model 55RAD5. Roku also lists a 65-inch version, model 65RAD5. Do not confuse either with the separate Pro Series LX: Roku specifies up to 144Hz VRR for the LX, while the standard Pro OLED in this offer is rated at 120Hz.

How the reported measurements compare
Tom’s Guide published several measurements alongside its deal report, but said its review of the Roku was still in progress. Treat these as attributed, preliminary comparison data—not as a completed comprehensive review or a guarantee of how the TV will perform in every room or setup.
| Measure reported by Tom’s Guide | Roku Pro OLED figure | Context |
|---|---|---|
| SDR brightness at 10% | 331 nits | Tom’s Guide’s reported measurement |
| HDR brightness at 10% | 462 nits | Tom’s Guide also parenthetically reported a higher-brightness reading of 574 nits |

Roku OLED or the 48-inch LG B6?
Tom’s Guide’s cited price comparison puts a 55-inch Roku alongside a 48-inch LG B6 at $699. That is a meaningful size tradeoff, not a like-for-like screen comparison. If both prices are still the same at checkout, the Roku offers a larger screen on the evidence in the report; the supplied comparison does not establish that it is better in overall picture quality or performance.

Compare the two listings using the specifications and current terms shown by the retailer. In particular, confirm the exact LG model and screen size, each television’s live price, HDR formats, refresh rate, and gaming features. The cited Roku measurements are from a review that Tom’s Guide said was still in progress, so they should not be treated as a complete head-to-head verdict.
