Star Wars: Galactic Racer was reported to be available to Amazon Prime members on launch day through Luna, Amazon’s cloud-gaming service, at no additional cost. But “free to claim” is misleading: the offer described is streaming access to the single-player campaign, not a confirmed permanent PC copy you can redeem, download, and keep. The title-specific details come from GAMINGbible’s October 6, 2026 report; Amazon’s general Luna pages explain the service but do not independently confirm this game’s inclusion.
What “free on PC” means for Galactic Racer
GAMINGbible reported on October 6, 2026, that Prime members could stream the game’s single-player campaign through Amazon Luna at no additional cost on launch day. The report says players could start without waiting for a lengthy download. It does not describe a downloadable PC install or a permanent redemption that adds the game to a library for later ownership.

Luna runs games on remote servers and streams the gameplay to a supported device. Amazon’s general explanation says Luna does not require a game download or installation, but that service-wide description is not independent confirmation of Galactic Racer availability. Check the Luna catalog for your account and location before relying on the title-specific offer; Amazon’s retrieved pages do not confirm the game’s regions or how long access lasts.
What is included—and what is not
The GAMINGbible report says the Luna option includes the single-player campaign and excludes multiplayer. StarWars.com describes the full release as including both a single-player campaign and competitive online multiplayer, so the reported Luna access is not equivalent to the complete game.

What you need to use Luna
Amazon says Luna streams games to supported devices, including Windows PCs and Macs, Chromebooks, Fire TV devices and tablets, iPhone and iPad through a web app, Android devices, and select smart TVs. Amazon recommends an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps for the best experience. These are general Luna requirements, not a game-specific guarantee of compatibility or performance.

Amazon’s September 29, 2026 Luna explainer says Prime membership includes access to a growing library of cloud-delivered games at no additional cost. The countries it lists for cloud-delivered games are the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. That regional list describes Luna generally; it does not establish that Galactic Racer is available in every listed market. Check Amazon’s Luna and Prime overview and the catalog shown for your location.
A controller is optional in the sense that Amazon says games outside GameNight can be played with a controller or with mouse and keyboard. Amazon describes its Luna Controller as optimized for cloud gaming, but does not say it is required for Galactic Racer.

How to decide which option to use
- Choose Luna if you are a Prime member, the game appears in your local Luna catalog, and campaign-only streaming meets your needs.
- Buy the full release if you want the reported full package, including online competitive multiplayer, or prefer a separately sold game rather than relying on cloud access.
- Check before starting if you need to know whether the offer is live for your account or region. The available title-specific report is dated October 6, 2026, and the retrieved Amazon pages do not confirm the game or an offer end date.
