No return of P.T. or Hideo Kojima’s canceled Silent Hills has been announced in the official announcements reviewed. The “comeback” headlines refer to new activity in the wider Silent Hill franchise, including a Silent Hill 2 remake and the separate project Silent Hill: Townfall.
What are P.T. and Silent Hills?
P.T. was a free playable teaser released to reveal Silent Hills, a planned full game associated with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. The two names are not interchangeable: P.T. was the teaser; Silent Hills was the game it was meant to preview.

Why are people talking about a Silent Hill comeback?
Konami has announced other projects in the franchise. Those announcements signal Silent Hill activity, but neither project is P.T. or Kojima’s canceled Silent Hills.

Do Kojima Productions or Xbox announcements confirm a return?
No. The official Kojima Productions and Xbox project announcements reviewed describe separate projects and a partnership; they do not announce a return for P.T. or Silent Hills.
