What has actually been announced?
The official June 19, 2026 announcement names the fourth TV anime season The Culling Game Part 2 and includes a teaser PV announcement. It identifies Takeru Sato as the new director. The announcement gives no premiere date or release window, so a specific timing claim is not established by that notice.

This is an anime adaptation continuing the Culling Game story, not an announcement that the original manga serialization has resumed or that a new Gojo-centered series is underway.
Why does Gojo’s revival come up?
The official story synopsis says that characters entering the Culling Game colonies seek a way to revive Gojo and rescue Tsumiki Fushiguro. It describes Hana Kurusu, known as “Angel,” as having a technique that can extinguish cursed techniques and as key to the effort to revive him.

That is a plot objective: the characters are trying to find a way to bring Gojo back. It is not confirmation that the effort succeeds, that Gojo has returned, or that a new sequel is devoted to him.
How does Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo fit in?
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is a distinct near-future manga spinoff, written by Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki. The official site says it began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2025 and that all three collected volumes have been released. It is not the title of Season 4, and the official description does not identify it as a Gojo-return story.

The original Jujutsu Kaisen manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018 and concluded in September 2024, after six and a half years. The anime continuation and the separate spinoff mean the franchise has projects beyond the original manga, but they should not be conflated with a continuation of that manga’s serialization.

For the original story, Shueisha’s official Jujutsu Kaisen page lists collected volumes, including volumes 26 through 30, and offers reading samples and related-book links. The official anime story page describes the three collected Modulo volumes. Check the listings for the language edition and marketplace relevant to you.
