Possibly, but Bose has not announced a new gaming headset. In an interview published by TechRadar on October 7, 2026, Bose president Raza Haider said the company is listening to gamers and asked them to “absolutely stay tuned.” He gave no product name, specifications, or release date.
What did Bose say about a new gaming headset?
Haider said gamers have asked Bose for more gaming audio products, and that the company recognizes how passionate the community is. He described the earlier Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset as not truly authentic to gamers, saying it did not resonate with them.
He set two conditions for any future product: it would need to feel authentic to the gaming community and meet a performance standard Bose has not reached with its current offering. As TechRadar reported his remarks: “I think if we do something, it has to be authentic to that consumer, it has to be authentic to that community, and it has to meet a certain bar of performance that what we have right now isn’t quite there,” Haider said. TechRadar’s interview report quotes him adding: “Absolutely stay tuned. Hopefully something [is] coming at some point in the future, but it’s a community we definitely keep our eyes on strongly.”
Is a Bose gaming headset confirmed?
No. Haider spoke conditionally about what Bose might do and expressed hope for something in the future; the interview does not confirm that a headset is in development or set for release. It also gives no name, feature list, platform support, or launch timing. “Stay tuned” is a signal of interest, not a product announcement.

What was Bose’s previous gaming headset?
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset
TechRadar identifies the QC35 II Gaming Headset as Bose’s previous gaming headset, released in 2021. It is a past product, not the headset Haider was teasing. The report summarizes TechRadar Gaming’s review as praising its noise cancellation, balanced sound, and comfort, while criticizing the lack of gaming-focused controls, including an instant mute button and automatic play/pause. Those are the review’s findings as summarized in the interview report, not a new hands-on assessment.
Haider’s comments suggest the company understands that a future gaming product would need to address the gap between general-purpose Bose audio and what gamers expect. His remarks do not specify which features or performance measures Bose would prioritize.
