Anthropic could go public as soon as mid-November 2026, according to an October 1 report citing Bloomberg and people familiar with the matter. The reported timetable is tentative: Anthropic has announced a confidential draft IPO filing, but has not confirmed a listing date.

Is Anthropic going public in November?

That is the current reported target, not a confirmed date. Reuters, in a report republished by Investing.com on October 1, said Anthropic may debut around mid-November. The report described marketing potentially starting the week of November 9 and trading before Thanksgiving, November 26, while noting that deliberations were ongoing and the schedule could change. Axios had also reported on September 30 that a November Nasdaq debut was expected. Neither report is an announcement from Anthropic confirming that it will list in November. Axios coverage.

What Anthropic has officially announced

On June 1, 2026, Anthropic said it had confidentially submitted a draft Form S-1 to the SEC for a proposed IPO of its common stock. The company said: “This gives us the option to go public after the SEC completes its review.” It also said the proposed offering depends on market conditions and other factors. Anthropic’s announcement.

A confidential draft submission is not the same as SEC approval, a final effective registration statement, or a completed IPO. The June announcement said the number and price of shares had not been set. It did not specify a listing date, ticker, proceeds, or target public-market valuation.

What the November report means for investors

The reported dates indicate a possible timetable, not a deadline or assurance that shares will become available to trade. The schedule could move, and the proposed offering remains subject to SEC review, market conditions, and other factors.

Anthropic’s May funding and revenue figures provide company context, but they are not IPO terms. On May 28, Anthropic announced a $65 billion Series H round at a $965 billion post-money valuation, and said its run-rate revenue had crossed $47 billion earlier that month. Those are company-reported figures; the $965 billion figure is a private-round valuation, not an announced IPO price or public-market valuation. Anthropic’s Series H announcement.

What to watch for next

The clearest confirmation would come from Anthropic or its public filings. Until then, treat the November window as reported and provisional. A subsequent public S-1 or company announcement would be needed to establish details such as the final share count, offer price, ticker, and listing date.
