The India-market iQOO Z10 5G is a strong choice if you want exceptional battery endurance, a large 120Hz AMOLED display, and smooth everyday performance in a relatively light 199g phone. Its main compromises are limited rear-camera flexibility, weaker low-light photos, and gaming performance that is better suited to moderate play than high-frame-rate competition. Buy it when battery life and screen quality matter more to you than versatile cameras or top-tier gaming—and only after checking the current price and stock.
What are the iQOO Z10’s main features?
The iQOO Z10 5G reviewed here is the India model launched in April 2025. Its core specification is a 7,300mAh typical battery, 90W wired charging, a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The full manufacturer specification is on iQOO’s India Z10 specifications page.

iQOO advertises a 120Hz panel and a 5,000-nit local peak brightness figure. The latter is a localized manufacturer claim based on lab measurements, not a promise of sustained brightness across the entire display. In Digit’s 2025 display testing, the screen reached 1,095 nits at manual brightness and a 2,250-nit auto peak; those are that outlet’s test results, not manufacturer specifications or guaranteed readings for every unit and condition.
The large battery is notable for a phone weighing 199g, but capacity alone does not determine how long it lasts. Screen brightness, signal strength, gaming, camera use, and other workload differences all affect runtime.

How good is the iQOO Z10’s battery life and charging?
Battery endurance is the Z10’s clearest strength. Independent reviews found it capable of lasting unusually long, but their results differ because the outlets used different tests and workloads. Treat these figures as separate review outcomes, not as interchangeable predictions for your own use.
- MySmartPrice reported 24 hours 47 minutes in its PCMark battery test.
- 91mobiles’ PCMark comparison graphic reported 16.7 hours.
- Digit reported 24 hours to 20% remaining in its battery-loop test.
- The Indian Express reviewer reported more than 10 hours of screen-on time on heavy-use days and over two days with moderate use during more than two weeks with the phone.
iQOO’s own product page lists 35.5 hours of video playback, 15.8 hours of continuous gaming, and 8.5 hours of continuous video recording. These are manufacturer lab results under controlled conditions, not independent tests or typical-use guarantees. Its charging figure of 33 minutes from 1% to 50% is likewise a lab result using the official charger and cable under specified conditions; actual charging time varies.
In The Indian Express’s review, Vivek Umashankar wrote: “The phone takes slightly over an hour to fully charge, and it reaches 50 per cent in just over 30 minutes.” That describes his review experience, not a guaranteed time for every charger, temperature, or charging state.

Is the display comfortable to use?
The 6.77-inch, 2392 × 1080 AMOLED panel combines a large viewing area with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Indian Express found it good for streaming and gaming, and Digit measured strong brightness in its testing. These qualities make the Z10 well suited to video, reading, and everyday scrolling.
iQOO describes the panel as quad-curved. Curved edges give the screen a more enveloping look, but they are a preference rather than an automatic benefit: some buyers may prefer a flat display for handling, screen protectors, or avoiding accidental touches at the edges. Consider that tradeoff if you can try the phone in person.
How good are the cameras?
The 50MP main camera is the Z10’s useful rear camera. It has optical image stabilization, and reviewers generally found daylight results usable or good. The 2MP bokeh/depth camera is not a substitute for a dedicated ultrawide or telephoto lens, so the phone cannot offer the same range of perspectives as a multi-camera setup with those lenses.

- Low light: The Indian Express and MySmartPrice reported weaker results or loss of detail in dim conditions.
- Selfies: The official front-camera specification is 32MP. Reviewer assessments of selfie processing differed, so results are not uniformly characterized as a strength or weakness.
- Camera versatility: There is no dedicated ultrawide or telephoto camera; the secondary rear camera is for bokeh/depth.
Choose another phone if you regularly photograph wide landscapes, distant subjects, or scenes in poor light and want more consistent camera flexibility.
How well does it perform, including for gaming?
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 provides smooth performance for daily apps and comfortable moderate gaming, according to the Indian Express and Digit reviews. The evidence does not support treating the Z10 as a high-refresh competitive gaming phone. Digit’s BGMI test ran at 60fps over a 30-minute session, with the game limited to 60fps in that test; the outlet recorded around 35°C during the session.

If your priority is the highest available frame rate in supported games, compare gaming-focused options and verify the frame-rate settings for the specific games you play. A 120Hz screen does not mean every game will run at 120fps.

What are the software and support tradeoffs?
The phone launched with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. The Indian Express described the interface as fast and stable, while noting that it felt less polished than some competitors and included preloaded apps that could be uninstalled.
The Indian Express and MySmartPrice reported a commitment of two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates. That commitment was reported in 2025; its fulfillment and current support status are not established here. Check iQOO’s current support information before buying if update longevity is important to you.

Should you buy the iQOO Z10?
The iQOO Z10 is worth considering if your priorities are long battery life, fast wired charging, a large AMOLED screen, and dependable daily performance. Its battery is the standout reason to choose it, while its 199g weight makes that endurance less cumbersome than the capacity might suggest.
Look elsewhere if camera versatility, strong low-light photography, or high-frame-rate gaming is central to your decision. The Z10 makes the most sense when its current price is competitive with phones offering the storage configuration and features you actually need. For alternatives in the same price band, compare current models on battery and charging, flat versus curved display preference, camera lenses and low-light consistency, gaming frame-rate limits, software support, and today’s final price; comparisons published in 2025 may no longer reflect current prices or the latest competing models.
