The listed prices are not a like-for-like comparison: iQOO’s ₹85,999 listing is for 12GB+256GB, while TECNO’s cited listings are ₹49,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹54,999 for 12GB+512GB. For gaming, battery life, or camera quality, specifications alone do not establish a real-world winner.

India price difference: the listings are not equivalent
In the cited listings, the iQOO 15 12GB+256GB costs ₹85,999 on iQOO’s official India store. 91mobiles lists the POVA 8 Pro 5G at ₹49,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹54,999 for 12GB+512GB. Which phone is better for gaming?
The iQOO 15’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 sits above the POVA 8 Pro’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate in the manufacturers’ stated product positioning, making iQOO the stronger on-paper choice for demanding games. That is a chipset-spec comparison, not proof of a particular frame rate or gaming advantage in a specific title. No comparable benchmark, sustained-gaming, or thermal results are established here.
Both phones list high-refresh AMOLED displays, but the POVA’s 144Hz figure is explicitly stated by TECNO; the cited iQOO listing gives its display size and resolution without a refresh-rate figure. Refresh rate alone does not determine game performance: the game must support higher refresh rates, and actual results also depend on software, thermals, and sustained chipset performance.

Battery capacity and charging
iQOO lists a 7000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 40W wireless charging. TECNO lists a 6500mAh battery and 45W wired charging, with no wireless charging figure in the cited specifications. On listed capacity and charging options, iQOO has the advantage. Capacity and rated charging power do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how long a full charge takes; those depend on usage and testing conditions.
Display and camera differences
Display
The iQOO screen is slightly larger at 6.85 inches and has a higher listed resolution of 3168×1440. TECNO specifies a 6.78-inch, 2644×1208 AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. These figures make resolution and refresh rate distinct comparison points; they do not establish which screen is brighter or better calibrated, since the cited specifications do not provide comparable brightness measurements or test conditions.

Cameras
TECNO specifies a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP front camera. iQOO’s store highlights a 50MP Sony 3× periscope camera, but the cited store excerpt does not provide a complete matching camera specification. The available figures suggest different camera hardware emphasis, not an image-quality verdict. No comparable photo or video samples establish a camera winner.

- Choose the iQOO 15 on paper if you prioritize the listed Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, higher display resolution, wireless charging, or higher rated wired charging.
- Consider the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G if the cited lower price matters and its chipset, display resolution, and charging specifications suit your needs. Confirm the exact RAM/storage variant and current seller price.
- For a confident gaming, camera, or battery-life decision, look for independent tests comparing the exact regional variants under similar conditions; the specifications alone cannot settle those outcomes.
