Workday Recruiting came later, so the 12-week timeline applies to the initial HCM and Absence deployment—not the full set of capabilities Interact plans to use.

Workday describes Interact as a UK-headquartered employee-experience and enterprise intranet company. Its September 29, 2026 announcement says Interact supports more than 1,500 organisations across Europe, the United States and Asia, and has a 250-person workforce. The 12-week deployment covered Workday HCM and Absence Management. Workday names Albida as the implementation partner. Recruiting was added after that initial go-live; Learning and Global Payroll were described as future additions, with no dates given for either.
Why Interact changed systems
Interact’s stated reason for moving was the limits of its previous HR system. Workday says custom fields were blocked, even small changes required formal requests, and performance reviews were handled through emailed, password-protected spreadsheets.

Workday says Interact selected Workday GO for its preconfigured best practices, defined implementation scope and ability to add capabilities over time. The sequencing—HCM and Absence first, then Recruiting, with Learning and Global Payroll planned—illustrates that phased approach.

These are outcomes described by Workday in a vendor announcement. The release does not quantify savings, productivity changes or return on investment, and it does not establish those benefits through independent measurement.

The 12-week Interact result is one customer deployment with a defined initial scope. The other figures come from separate Workday materials with different descriptions and should not be treated as contradictory or interchangeable guarantees.
What buyers can—and cannot—infer from the case
Interact’s experience is useful as an example of a phased Workday GO deployment, but it is not enough to forecast another organisation’s go-live date. A meaningful comparison needs to account for:

Workday’s announcement does not detail Interact’s internal staffing, migration volume, testing gates or change-management workload. It names the connection to an internal asset-management tool, but does not provide enough implementation detail to reproduce the project from the case alone.
