Intel named six add-in-board partners for the Arc B580 launch: Acer, ASRock, GUNNIR, ONIX, MAXSUN, and Sparkle. Intel said B570 partner cards would come from the same group. MSI and ASUS were not named, but Intel’s announcement does not explain why.
Which brands did Intel name?
In its December 3, 2024 launch announcement, Intel listed these six companies as Arc B580 add-in-board partners:
- Acer
- ASRock
- GUNNIR
- ONIX
- MAXSUN
- Sparkle
Intel said B570 graphics cards would come from the same partner group. The announcement also mentioned an Intel Arc B580 Limited Edition card separately; it is not a seventh partner brand. This is the launch list Intel named at that time, not proof of every partner or product that may exist later. Intel’s December 3, 2024 announcement
Why aren’t MSI and ASUS on the list?
Intel’s announcement does not say. It establishes that MSI and ASUS were not among the six named launch partners, but gives no reason for their absence. Any explanation—such as a business decision, timing, or a technical issue—would be speculation.

What should you check before choosing a partner card?
The GPU name alone does not identify the complete card. Compare the exact model listing and review rather than assuming every B580 or B570 has the same board design.

Intel said the B580 averaged a 24% gaming performance advantage over the Arc A750 Limited Edition at 1440p Ultra across various games; Intel noted that selected games used XeSS Performance mode when available. That is Intel’s vendor-reported result, not independent testing. Intel also claimed up to 3.9× frames-per-second output with XeSS 2 technologies activated in its F1 24 test, specifically on a B580 at 1440p Ultra using XeSS Ultra Performance mode. Neither figure should be treated as a general expected gain for every game or card. Intel’s launch announcement
