In Australia in 2026, stream selected NRL matches free on 9Now, or use Kayo for every regular-season match live and on demand. Foxtel advertises every 2026 round live. One important exception: Kayo says the Grand Final is delayed, so check its current schedule if you want to watch that match live.

9Now streams Channel 9 live at no charge, with advertising. To begin, create a Nine profile and check that the match you want is listed for Nine. A 9Now stream is not a way to watch every NRL fixture.

Stream the regular season and finals on Kayo
Kayo’s 2026 NRL information describes Premiership matches as live and on demand. It says finals matches before the Grand Final are live, but Grand Final coverage is delayed. If live Grand Final viewing is essential, check the current broadcaster schedule rather than assuming Kayo offers it live.

Watch through Foxtel or Foxtel Now
Foxtel advertises every game of every round live in 2026 and also offers Foxtel Now. Foxtel’s NRL page identifies Fox League as the place to see every game of every round live. Package prices and which package is the lowest-priced option with NRL are not established in the cited official coverage information, so compare Foxtel’s current package details before choosing it over Kayo.
Why Watch NRL is not the Australian option
Watch NRL is intended for viewers outside Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Its official help information directs Australian viewers to Kayo or Foxtel instead.
Check device support before buying hardware

How long do these 2026 arrangements apply?
On 7 July 2026, the NRL announced a A$5.3 billion media-rights agreement with Foxtel Group, Nine and Sky NZ. Foxtel Group says Kayo and Foxtel retain NRL and NRLW rights through 2034, including home-and-away matches and finals except the Grand Final. Nine’s published earlier agreement covered 2023–2027. These rights terms do not establish that apps, prices, device support or fixture allocations will remain unchanged; check the current season’s provider information when planning to watch.
