Outside Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, the NRL’s official international streaming service is Watch NRL. It offers live and on-demand matches, but the NRL also lists local rights holders by territory, so check the broadcaster in your country before subscribing.
How to watch NRL online in your country
Start by checking the NRL’s international broadcaster directory. Watch NRL is listed as the official stream for viewers outside Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands; those exclusions matter, because it is not a universal service for every country.
The NRL’s directory names rights holders in several markets, including Fox Sports US in the United States, Sportsnet in Canada, Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, ESPN in the Netherlands, beIN Sports France, SportDigital in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Premier Sports Asia in a number of Asian territories. Rights listings do not confirm each provider’s online package, price or sign-in requirements. Check your provider’s current schedule and streaming options for the matches you want.
For viewers in Australia, the NRL points to local services including Nine/9Now, Kayo and Foxtel; for New Zealand, it points to Sky. The directory is the best starting point if you are unsure which route applies where you live.

What Watch NRL includes in 2026
The Watch NRL Help Centre’s 2026 inclusion list covers every NRL Telstra Premiership and Finals match, the 2026 Ampol State of Origin Series and the NRL Women’s Premiership. It also lists FOX League, selected Rugby League Test Matches and pre-season fixtures, and selected 2026 Knock On Effect NSW Cup matches. “Selected” does not mean every Test, pre-season or NSW Cup match is included.
The service overview also describes live and on-demand coverage of Premiership and NRLW matches and Finals, including the Grand Final, as well as events such as State of Origin and Rugby League in Las Vegas. Watch NRL says subscribers can pause and rewind streams and download current-season matches or shows for offline viewing. Check the current inclusion list if a particular fixture or program is essential to your decision.

How to watch Watch NRL on a phone, computer or TV
The service supports compatible phones, tablets and computers through its website or dedicated apps. For a television, Watch NRL names Chromecast, AirPlay and the Apple TV app as viewing routes. Its help centre says the Watch NRL app is not available to download on smart TV devices; confirm device compatibility in the device and browser guide before setting up your viewing.
